Nancy Abrolat

Nancy Abrolat is an employment law attorney based in Los Angeles, California, and the founder and president of Abrolat Law. Since establishing her firm in 1995, Nancy has specialized in representing employees in legal matters involving workplace rights, whistleblower protection, and class actions. Her efforts have resulted in multimillion-dollar settlements and policy changes that have positively impacted the working conditions of her clients. Nancy's academic journey began at the University of the Pacific, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English, graduating with honors. She then went on to the University of California’s Hastings College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1990. These accomplishments laid the groundwork for her legal career, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and hard work. After completing law school, Nancy began her legal career at Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a prominent law firm in Los Angeles. She worked with major corporations, including several Fortune 500 companies. Her responsibilities included advising clients on human resources matters, managing civil litigation, and preparing legal documents. This experience gave her a deep understanding of corporate legal practices, which later influenced her decision to focus on representing employees rather than corporations. In 1995, Nancy made a significant career change by founding Abrolat Law, where she shifted her focus to employee advocacy. She used her experience with large corporations to provide strategic guidance to employees facing discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace injustices. Nancy Abrolat is also an active member of the California Employment Law Association and the Los Angeles Consumer Attorneys Association.
