Volunteers are a valuable and integral part of SINDA as their contributions play a key role in the success of the organisation’s programmes and services. Together with enriching their own life experiences through volunteering,these volunteers’ time, effort, expertise and resources also make a significant difference to the lives of those they serve.

SINDA offers its volunteers continuous training and learning opportunities so that they are empowered to organise and lead self-directed programmes. Volunteers attend a comprehensive orientation programme together with programme-specific training that equips them with specialised skills to contribute to their respective programmes efficiently.

In 2019, two engagement sessions were organised to show appreciation to SINDA’s volunteers for their contribution. The sessions also provided them with the opportunity to exchange stories and strengthen bonds.
The Indian Business-leaders’ Roundtable The Indian Business-leaders’ Roundtable, or IBR, engages Indian leaders from the Singapore business community. IBR supports SINDA in its mission to uplift the Singaporean Indian community thorough its members’ rich experience, expertise and networks. Since inception, IBR and its members have played a multi-dimensional role in assisting SINDA beneficiaries — providing funding support, career opportunities and engaging youths in the community.
