Make your own Woodland Terrarium to enjoy at home. We will take you through the steps of creating your whimsical terrarium, and don’t worry, there will be plenty of miniature items for you to add. Then we’ll go over tips for maintaining it.

Rather ride your bike? Bring your bike and meet up a for a leisurely one hour ride. Downtown-area routes are specially planned by Schlegel Bicycles. Lights and helmets are required. Learn the art of soap making in this handson workshop. Each participant will leave with one pound of customized soap, which makes four bars and great holiday gifts. We’ll collaborate on the soap base as a class then you can incorporate essential oils and fragrances that add a soothing or healing touch. Note: soap takes four weeks to set so it’s ready just in time for the December holidays!

Drawing plants in black and white, using fine tip felt pens. Pen and ink is a fun and effective technique. It’s easy to learn and superportable for on-the-go sketching. We’ll practice line drawing, stipple and cross hatch shading, and how to place strong darks for brilliant lighting effects. Paper and Sharpie felt tip pens will be supplied; a suggested optional supply list will be provided beforehand as well.
