Building the Brand

W e l co m e

It is with great pride and honor, we present you the inaugural Building the Brand event. You will see a line in the catalog title reading “with friends.” Friends, the true purpose, reward, and pleasure of this industry. Jessica and I have been truly blessed to acquire the relationships we have with those consigning to the sale not only in friendship, but also in partnerships and as customers. For this, we are eternally grateful. It is our sole goal to surround our son with folks of the integrity, character, and compassion of this group. With that we encourage you to engage in conversation with us and we are certain you will find yourselves in the same position. 14 years ago in 2009, I purchased my first cow, an Angus heifer, tag W01. At the age of 14, I sure thought I had the start of something! I was right, she ended up making one heck of a recipient. Anyhow, my point of it is the progress our program has made in the past 14 years. I am sure proud of it, and look forward to many more years of forward progress. If you want a good chuckle, I am sure you could talk me into showing you a few pictures of some of my first sale cattle! To the offering. A wise cowboy, that has been a great mentor of mine has always told me, “If you wouldn’t own them yourself, why on earth would you sell them.” I can honestly say, this set truly echoes that regard. There is something for everyone in this offering from national contenders to genetically potent replacements. You will see a long list of contacts on the next page, I urge you to reach out to any of them if you need assistance, and I will guarantee you they will give you an accurate description and honest opinion. If I didn’t trust them to look at cattle for myself, they would not be listed. All of us consignors stand behind our cattle and are here to assist you with your purchase in anyway we can. Whether you need advice on breeding, feeding, or daily care, please reach out to us. We will help you as much as possible in regard to show day prep pending travel limitations, and if someone can’t be there to help, we will work our hardest to put you in contact with someone that can. Some consignors offer daily care/custom fitting, please contact us individually for details. With all this being said, we look forward to seeing you sale day and also invite you the eve before for fellowship and live music provided by Tyson Schulte (frequently found rocking out on TikTok). Lastly, hats off to Trey, Brenda, and Owen for allowing this event to be hosted at their facility!

Sincerely,

Austin, David, and Jessica Egloff

W /C LOA D E D U P 1119Y X H P F SAZ ERAC Z 074 DOB: 10/10/16 | REG. #3215257 | PB SIMMENTAL

D206 hails from the historic Sazerac cow family made famous by the Rockefeller’s of Hudson Pines. Her mother, Sazerac Z074, was the 2014 Junior National Grand Champion Female as well as 3rd Overall at the Indiana State Fair. With the red gene being a sought after commodity in today’s market, why not tie into a powerful and proven red baldy female? This cow has been grossly underutilized and if given the right chance, will certainly return large dividends. Open and ready to flush. Has frozen as many as 14 Grade 1 embryos in a prior flush, thanks to Trans Ova Genetics. See her impressive offspring offered in the sale as proof of her potency!

DOB: 2/17/23 | REG. #4232751 Complete; the best way to characterize this female. She’s not going to blow you away with any one thing but I personally believe in this one as a big bred and cow. Just look at her donor dam selling as Lot 1. Loose structured with an awesome hind leg. She’s just coming into her own and I think in another month or two she could make her new owner look very smart.

She has averaged over 48 oocytes and 9 embryos per flush. We are excited to open up the door and share her potency with a partner to expand her footprint across the industry. Ground Sow! This extremely massive female is a creature. If you happen to be able to see this one in person, her foot quality alone is a reason to haul her home. This Turnpike daughter put so many factors of femininity and maternal power together. Potentially the best ear-setted daughter of her sire, we are confident in this females ability to generate competitive females and high value herd sires. Due to STAG Good Times 12/9/23.

Uprising out of a full sister to Broker, and bred to 24 Karat….Pretty salty pedigree combinations here. We pruchased this gal from Buck Creek and sold an ultra fancy Eminence daughter out of her in our 2022 sale to the James family. This lady has been a good producer over the years. First for Trennepohls, and the last few years for us and H2O’s. If we weren’t in the market for a new trailer she wouldn’t be in the sale (gotta love inflation). Check out her lot 11 Turnpike daughter for a glimpse of what she’s capable of. She is due April 11th to the up and coming K-F Pays to be Cool. His first two heifer calves for us this year were outstanding!
