HOW THEY MET + PROPOSAL STORY:
Elishaba + Delvyn
We met through a mutual
friend, and the rest is history. For the proposal, Delvyn and I talked about getting married quite a few times as our partnership strengthened, but nothing too serious. At his brother’s wedding, Delvyn mentioned that he would be the best husband ever! I, of course, laughed it off! A few months later, we traveled to Philadelphia from Virginia for the “Made in America” Festival over Labor Day weekend. Before we departed, Delvyn asked if it was okay to move our dinner reservations up so we could dine with some of his colleagues based in the Philadelphia region. When we arrived in Philly, he told me that his colleagues had to decline the invite, and he and I would just go and enjoy the meal without them. When dessert came out, on the plate it read “Will You Marry Me?”
