Stainless Steel Braided Hose

Manufactured in the USA, Speedflow 100 Series hose is the premier stainless steel nitrile hose and has been used by motorsport professionals all over the world! Used with our 100 Series hose ends it provides essential protection and resistance to high pressure, temperature, and chafing! It is constructed of a seamless synthetic nitrile inner tube with an integral stainless steel braid and a high tensile stainless steel outer braid. It has the highest corrosion & fire resistance of any other nitrile braided hose.

Start-Lite Hose

The 120 Series hose is Lightweight, Durable and Race proven! Made from smooth-bore CPE liner with predyed BLACK (with red trace) Nomex® cover. Start-Lite® hose assemblies are lighter in weight than conventional high performance assemblies. Use 100 Series reusable Hose Ends, no crimping machines or special tools are required! Applications: Fuel*, lube, coolant, air.

FUEL ADDITIVES & THEIR EFFECT

With the use of new blends of unleaded fuels and additives from fuel manufacturers in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to assure their compatibility with hose constructions.

• Not recommended for use with unleaded fuels as it is known to allow the permeation of fuel smell through the layers as well as other possible issues.

• Not to be used with brake fluids.

• Not recommended for use around extreme heat sources

The best option is our 200 SERIES TEFLON® HOSE which can withstand all additives used in the manufacture of unleaded fuels and Ethanol blends. 200 Series -6, -8, -10 and -12 sizes are also manufactured with a carbon lining to prevent static build up and discharge from fast moving liquids.

Made from 6061 grade aluminium and utilising our unique full flow formed bend which is the strongest and most compact hose end bend in the industry! Speedflow only manufacture the cutter style which is engineered to securely fit our 100, FR115 & 120 Series hose for a perfect seal every time! All our hose ends can be rotated once assembled.

Teflon® Stainless Steel Braided Hose

Speedflow 200 Series Teflon® Braided Hose is constructed from a PTFE (Teflon®) inner tube compatible with all brake & clutch fluids, oil & fuels. The outer stainless steel braided cover adds fire and heat resistance and gives the hose a high pressure rating. Sizes -6 and up are manufactured with an anti-static PTFE tube suitable for use as main fuel lines. 200 Series has been an industry standard since the mid 60’s when it was first used as brake lines to reduce expansion and provide a much firmer “pedal” and more consistent braking. This hose has evolved to be recommended in clutch, pressure lines, turbo lines oil, water and fuel systems!

Pushlock Hose

Our 400 series hose is manufactured by Gates and designed specifically for 400 series pushlock style fittings. This hose has an elastomer tube with a smooth outer cover. This is not recommended for use with unleaded fuels or use in high pressure applications or suction systems. This hose suitable for use with synthetic lubricants, oils, air, coolant and methanol.

AEROQUIP AQP® Socketless Hose

We have added the popular AQP® Socketless™ hose to our range. This hose has an elastomer tube, textile braid reinforcement with a rough elastomer outer cover. We do not recommend this hose for use with unleaded fuels or use in high pressure applications or suction systems.

This hose suitable for use with synthetic lubricants, oils, air, coolant and methanol. 332 has a BLUE outer cover and the 598 is BLACK.

Speedflow makes a complete range of 400 series hose ends to suit our 400, 332 & 598 Series hose. Made in Australia from 6061-T6 grade aluminium and utilising our unique full flow formed bend which is the strongest and most compact hose end bend in the industry! All our hose ends are beautifully finished in a hard coat anodise with a decorative colour, either in standard red and blue or black. We can custom anodise to your specification in a range of colours.

Pushlock Clamps & Pliers

Pushlock clamps are a self tensioning self retaining clamp specifically sized for our hose. A must for high heat and oil line applications to ensure a secure seal without damaging the construction or integrity of the hose. Installation is easy using these Pliers!

Designed for high pressure power steering applications using our 490 Series fittings. The hose is constructed from a synthetic rubber tube with a textile inner braid, a single wire braid reinforcement and a rubber impregnated textile braid cover that is black in colour.

Made from 6061 grade aluminium and hard anodised black for a tough finish as required with power steering applications. A non swivel tapered design hose end specially designed to suit our hose and tested to bursting pressures ideal for power steering applications.

SF-LITE HOSE SYSTEM - 550 SERIES

SF-Lite is the newest addition to the Speedflow range & is the most technologically advanced hose system available! The hose has a carbon impregnated anti-static PTFE inner tube that is manufactured with a smooth-bore and convolutions on the outside which allows for improved flexibility. Being a smooth-bore hose, there are no voids that can create turbulence or trap debris as commonly found with a fully convoluted hose.

SF-Lite is available in six sizes from -4 to -16, all with a large bore size allowing greater volume to be carried at higher flow rates.

It comes in a choice of two braid options, Aramid Fibre or Stainless Steel braid.

Aramid fibre braid is a strong, flexible and lightweight cover that has well-known characteristics of durability and extraordinary tensile strength along with a high temperature rating.

550 SERIES

Stainless Steel braid is made from 304 stainless steel and offers a much tighter bend radius along with full vacuum rating below 130°C and protects the PTFE liner against internal pressure and mechanical abuse.

SF-Lite has an even higher resistance to permeation than a standard smooth-bore PTFE hose thanks to the unique manufacturing process which highly compresses the PTFE matrix ensuring a nonporous structure. This makes SF-Lite compatible with all automotive fluids including fuels such as E85 along with refrigeration gases making it perfect for AC lines.

SF-Lite utilises Speedflows new crimp system, and lightweight hose end series. The majority of the angled hose ends are made from our unique one piece formed bends that offer the most compact hose ends on the market with exceptional strength and allow us to achieve very light weight systems.

Teflon® Aramid Braided Hose

Speedflow’s light weight system starts with a black antistatic smooth bore PTFE (Teflon®) liner tube manufactured with convolutions on the outside which makes for high flow with the flexibility of a tighter bend radius than our standard 200 Series hose. We offer our light weight hose with an Aramid Fibre Braid which is light weight, abrasion and heat resistant. The working pressure rating will reduce by 1% per 1°C at temps above 130°C up to a maximum of 180°. The manufacturer does not specify this as a Vacuum rated hose. For vacuum applications use the below Stainless Steel Braided version.

Teflon® Stainless Steel Braided Hose

• Temperature Range: -70°C (-94°F) to 180°C (356°F).

The Stainless Steel braided version is made from the same liner as above, utilising a 304 Stainless Steel braid which provides more rigidity and flexibility, which is important when working in tight situations. The working pressure rating will reduce by 1% per 1°C at temps above 160°C up to a maximum of 260°. This hose is vacuum resistant up to 130° (266°F).

SUITS 550 SERIES HOSE

Our 550 Series hose ends are now available in a double swivel option for a full 360° adjustment. This allows the hose to be rotated after crimping making alignment for installation a breeze. Made from 6061-T6 grade aluminium utilising our unique full flow formed bend* which is the strongest and most compact hose end bend in the industry! All hose ends come complete with a Natural crimp collar and are hard coat anodised in Black. Black crimp collars are sold separately.

Crimping Machine

To assemble our 550 Series hose ends, the assembly needs to be crimped to our sized specification. We offer an in house crimping service via our distributor network or you can purchase a crimping machine and corresponding dies to suit each size.

This “go anywhere” crimping machine has the power and portability to quickly crimp our Speedflow 550 Series assemblies.

The micrometer style adjustment allows the hose and fitting combinations to be crimped to exact specifications without the need for special shims or spacers. The Stand Alone Hose Crimper utilises a separate pneumatic pump which requires a constant supply of 80psi.

• Dies to suit hose sizes are sold separately so that you can purchase the ones you require.

Mechanical Fuel Injection Hose

Meets SAE 30R3 specification. This hose has a smooth outer cover with a fabric braided inner for strength and flexibility and a inner tube designed to withstand fuels. This hose suitable for use with synthetic lubricants, oils, air and methanol. • Temp Range: -40°C to 93°C.

Lightweight, strong and high flowing! The 45° & 90° hose ends are a true flowed one piece formed bend. We have male threaded hose ends also available in 3/8” -24 O-ring Port and NPT to give the option of screwing directly into the distribution blocks. The crimp collars are made from 6061-T6 aluminium and require a crimp machine to crimp.

PL SERIES Clear Reinforced Hose

Transparent, plasticised PVC hose that is reinforced by a steel spiral helix which prevents the hose from collapsing. Great for overflow and breather lines. Not for use with Gasoline!

This is made with a Nylon inner tube and stainless steel outer braid in either standard Stainless or Blackened lengths for superior refrigerant performance in keeping you cool! We have two braid options, Stainless Steel which is sold per metre or our Blackened version which is sold in 5m lengths. 5m is the longest length we can process to a blackened finish. This hose suits our range of 480 Series aluminium hose ends below which are designed specifically for this hose and include charge port adapters.

Stainless Steel Braided Cover

This is the best quality Stainless Steel Braided Cover available on the market! It is strong, hard wearing and the close weave will not allow the hose to show through the braid unlike cheap covers. If you are after show quality looks for your Hot Rod, Street Machine, Custom Bike or for your daily drive, this is an economical and versatile option for fuel lines, radiator and heater hoses, power steering and AC lines. Available in several different sizes!

Hose Cover Clamps

The perfect way to finish off the end of a hose to give it the look and feel of a competition hose! Manufactured from quality aluminium and beautifully anodised! Smaller sizes are machined from hex bar, with larger sizes from -16 and up machined round. Each fitting includes a stainless steel worm drive clamp to give a maximum working pressure of 50 psi.

This tube is available in four sizes in three different lengths, it is easy to bend and flare and when used in conjunction with 818 & 819 tube nuts and sleeves, a totally leak free seal is achieved! Supplied coiled it can be straightened and routed with ease. Commonly used for fuel, and on board fire extinguisher lines.

Stainless Steel Hardline

We have sourced this annealed seamless stainless steel tubing for almost any use. It has a thin wall to make bending and flaring easier and it can be polished to a high lustre show car shine if desired. It is supplied in straight lengths in the dimensions shown below. For shipping a maximum length will be enforced, so we can either cut or coil to suit your order. All stainless hardline is sold by the metre.

Tube Adapters, Nuts & Sleeves

Compression style tube adapters along with tube nuts & sleeves to convert standard steel or aluminium tube to AN fittings. The tube adapters use a compression olive to seal, whereas the tube nut & sleeve requires the tube to be flared using a 37° flaring tool.

We have assembled a huge range of weld on fittings to make the job of fabricating a tank, radiator or your speciality job a breeze. When you are fabricating you don’t have the time to search for the right part, that is why we have this complete range available right off the shelf!

These are machined with a profiled radius on the inside to increase flow. Standard weld on’s are drilled straight through and parted off.

These are manufactured with a hex and an internal boss to accept the approriate sized tube.

Filler Caps - AN Thread

Speedflow now manufacture these male threaded filler caps, featuring male AN threads in either -12, -16 or -20. They have finger grips for easy turn operation and a O-ring for a positive seal. They can be used in any AN Port threaded hole, or used our 990 series weld bungs to fabricate tanks, valve covers and other accessories.

Speedflow are proud to introduce their latest range of performance inline filters. They have invested countless hours in designing, machining and testing to ensure the best filtration available for the performance market. Results from flow and pressure testing on our 601 & 602 series filters surpassed our expectations, flowing well in excess of 15gpm (53lpm) with minimal pressure loss using a -10 unit! these units are usable for applications over 3000hp!

600 Micro Series

These are the smallest filter in our range, the body length measures 28mm (1.10”) making this perfect to place inline where space is limited or only a small filter is required. The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium with a hard anodised finish and fitted with a 44 or 74 micron pleated disc screen.

The 601 Short Series are also available with M12 inlet or M18 outlet ends making it suitable for applications such as aftermarket fuel pumps. Available in -6, -8 and M12 x 1.5 metric to suit aftermarket fuel pumps. Add your required micron size to the part number, filters come complete ready to run!

Measures 2.48” OD (63mm) with a body length of 6.95” (177mm) plus the fitting length. These have an element area of 100.6 square inches (649cm²) with a choice of 3 micron sizes. Our unique end cap design locates the filter element without the need for a spring to hold it in place. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and hard anodised. Designed to be used for inline Fuel and Oil applications.

This filter has -12 female O-Ring ports which allows our 920 Series adapters to be used to adapt to -6, -8, -10, -12 or -16.

Why is PTFE is short for Polytetrafluoroethylene - is also known by the trademarked name TEFLON ® . Here are some reasons that it is better than rubber!

• PTFE lined hose has excellent chemical resistance properties and supports most automotive fluids that regular rubber just can’t. The most common of which is blended gasoline containing ethanol. Regular rubber hoses break down from exposure to this gasoline & eventually degrade to the point where they may begin to leak or spray fuel.

• PTFE hose acts as a vapor barrier and prevents gasoline odors from seeping out.

• With PTFE lined hose you should use the same manufacturers appropriate fittings to ensure that perfect seal. They are created with a special fitting ferrule to suit the hose size rather than an insert as is sometimes used on rubber hose.

• It is worth noting that the bend radius on some PTFE hoses must not be exceeded as they will kink more easily if you go past the recommended specifications.

Lightweight, flexible and smooth hose made from a liner of nitrile sheet rubber, with a high tensile spring steel helix covered with nitrile coated nylon fabric, and having an outer cord of neoprene-coated polyester. This hose is able to bend 180° with no kinking!

Applications: Engine and automotive industry. Can be used with all motor fuels and most lubricating oils.

25mm Kompact Dual Port

Dual outlet-type BOV. Dual Port vents both to the atmosphere and back into the air intake. Ports with sequential timing allow quieter operation during normal driving, while getting all the benefits of a vent-to-atmosphere BOV under race conditions. Turbosmart’s newest range of High-performance EFI fuel pressure regulators are smaller, lighter and better! They feature two 1/8” inlet ports, one return port and one 1/8” gauge port, premium diaphragm and stainless steel valves/seat and allow for ANY fuel type including E85. Non-directional bias to regulation, so no matter where the fuel comes in they will regulate the same.

Internal Actuator (IWG-75)

On an internally wastegated turbo, the wastegate valve is built into the turbine housing. The wastegate valve is controlled by an internal wastegate actuator. As boost rises the actuator controls the position of the wastegate valve, which in turn controls the exhaust gas flow to the turbine. Like all Turbosmart parts, billet construction means they are stronger and more durable than a stock actuator, while Turbosmart’s focus on performance means boost comes on faster and holds on longer, putting you in control!

The EXO Series (TM) is a dual-layer design using a combination of hi-temp glass fibre covered with a 304 grade stainless steel exoskeleton. This unique construction maintains high heat protection while offering superior abrasion and impact protection. The unique Air Gap Technology keeps direct contact of the glass fibre wrap off the hot surface, creating an insulating air barrier. Designed to provide the best possible heat protection in areas where high temperatures are always present and problematic. It limits heat transfer on fire walls, transmission tunnels, floor boards, fuel cells and other areas where heat is an issue. It also provides excellent light weight thermal protection, acts as a guard against track and road debris, and provides sound deadening as well. Constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to 1/8” composite glass-fiber core and backed with a high temp super strong pressure sensitive backing, withstands up to 1750°F of direct continuous heat. The adhesive side holds past 450°F. It’s improved multifaceted modern aluminum surface offers improved reflectivity & rigidity and allows for ease of installation. At only 3/16” thick, this product can be shaped and trimmed for a custom fit and is ideal for minimal clearance areas. With a unique and patented finely woven glass-fibre backing it is the easiest, most cost effective way to control thermal transfer while protecting expensive components & occupants from extreme heat situations and sound.

Stand 21 Hans Device

Club Series

The 20° Club Series has been developed to offer a more economical HANS for the clubman competitor in rallying and saloon car racing. While more economical it offers all the safety standards of the far more expensive versions but at a more affordable price.

The Club Series device is manufactured from plastic in an injection moulded construction, but unlike other plastic Sport Devices (1160 grams) and Defnder(1200 grams) it weighs in at a much lighter 950 grams, some 30% lighter, and is only 100gm’s heavier than the Carbon Racing Series.

The Club Series is FIA homologated and uses the same evolution design as incorporated on the Racing Series, making it far more comfortable to wear, and easier to use in the car due to its wider seat belt slots.

Available in a two sizes that fits almost most medium to large drivers. Supplied with sliding tethers for full head rotation when connected to a helmet.

Hi Tec Carbon Series

The Stand 21 Hi-Tec HANS device is made from high strength carbon fibre and complies with FIA 88582002, a standard which established the criteria for optimal resistance to the forces applied to a driver’s head and neck in the sudden deceleration experienced in an impact.

The Hi-Tec HANS weighs 610 grams and comes fitted with sliding tethers for ease of movement.

This 20° HANS device comes in either a or Medium/Large size to suit many drivers. The Club Series 3 is very lightweight - weighing in at ony 640 grams (for the main part).

It is made from a Thermoplastic injected resin reinforced with carbon fibre and is handmade in France.

It is supplied with black paddings, sliding tether and protective bag. It comes as standard with a sliding tether offering the driver more head rotation but still giving protection against whiplash injury in an accident.

Club Series 3 Ultimate Series

Exceptional ergonomics, geometrics and light weight. The Ultimate device is the world’s most evolved device to date. The all-carbon monolithic technology allows a new design for the device arms - their thickness is greatly reduced from 14mm down to 4mm which also improves the fit between the driver and the device.

The arched top has been reengineered and re-designed offering a reduction of the physical thickness to below 2mm which in turn allows a reduction of helmet-to-seat / headrest space to improve safety. FIA 88582010 certified and supplied with sliding tethers allowing greater head motion.

This FireSense slim-line electrical fire system has been created for use in competition vehicles and offers the latest in on-board fire suppression technology.

SFI 17.1 Novec 5lb Mechanical Fire System

This certified fire suppression system uses Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid which is an ozone friendly, next generation, halon replacement gas that has excellent fire suppression properties. It is safe for the driver, nonconductive so it’s safe on delicate electronics and won’t leave residue as it evaporates and therefore requires no clean up.

PROTECTIVE

PADDING

11.1 Helmet and Head Protection:

(a) For vehicles subject of a safety cage structure as per Article

3: Application: where the helmet of an occupant could come into contact with the safety cage structure, protective padding shall be fitted to that area, which complies with:

(i) International Competition and below, FIA standard 88572001, type A (see FIA Technical List No 23 “Roll Cage Padding Homologated by the FIA”); or

(ii) For National Competitions and lower, SFI specification 45.1. For each 1st Category vehicle, the use of SFI specification 45.2 for the head rest is permitted. Where it could be demonstrated that the fitment of protective padding unduly hampers the occupants’ ability to operate the vehicle in a safe manner, the requirement for padding will be negated in the immediate area of concern at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer.

11.2 Body Protection:

Where the body of an occupant could come into contact with the safety cage, it is recommended that flame retardant padding be fitted. FIA standard 8857-2001 or SFI specification 45.1 padding.

Extract from ANDRA Rulebook:

Section 4 Head Protector and Roll Bar Padding. Where the driver’s helmet can make contact with roll bars or cages, padding meeting SFI 45.1 or FIA 8857-2001 must be fitted. All areas where the helmet may contact roll bars must be protected with padding and suitably fastened to the tubing to prevent it from slipping or detaching. If cable ties are used they must be regularly checked to ensure they have not deteriorated and remain fit for purpose.

Additional padding mounted on flat stock and fastened to the rollcage on both sides of the drivers helmet is mandatory in all cars faster than 225mph. Padding must be securely mounted and include flame retardent covering. Padding meeting SFI 45.2 recommended. Vehicles with FIA or SFI rated seats with built in “halo” are exempt from this regulation.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Heating the padding above 80°C in hot water will allow the padding to be bent at sharper or odd angles reducing the risk of breaking the USI roll bar padding!

This engine assembly lubricant is a premium high viscosity lubricant specifically designed to offer additional protection for new moving surfaces in engine assembly applications. The WIX line of racing oil filters features a heavy duty can and cover which provides up to 500 psi burst pressure protection for high performance racing engines. You won't collapse this filter as it features a Steel Fully Perforated Spiral Centre Tube that has the highest collapse strength in the industry. Filter flow rates from 28 to 30 GPM provides plenty of flow for wide bearing clearances found in racing engines. Recommended and used by BK Race Engines.

Advanced Performance Oil Filters use a media (T-10) that is rated at a Frazier air flow of approximately 267 CFM and is wire-backed. The unique wire-backing provides a very stable base for a media blend of fiberglass, polyester and cellulose. This media is resistant to high temperatures and water levels in the oil that can plug standard media types. Our Advanced Performance media (T-10) is designed to provide a high positive oil flow with low restriction.

High Efficiency Endurance Oil Filters use a media (T-71) rated at a Fraizer air flow of approximately 75 CFM. This media contains a higher resin content than our Advanced Performance Filters to trap and hold smaller contaminants and provide higher efficiency.

These provide an instantaneous supply of oil when pressure falls below a safe level. Our professional series are available in 1.5 or 3.0 quart versions. The 1.5 quart version is perfect for Sport Compacts and other vehicles with 4 and 6 cylinder engines. Ideal for street performance and mild off-road applications.

All Accumulators store oil under pressure and automatically release that oil to the main galleries when oil pressure drops. Moroso Accumulators can also be used to manually pre-lube engines before starting to prevent cold-start scuffing and premature bearing wear.

TECH TIP:

Once you have installed your New Moroso Accumulator put 6psi of air pressure into the cylinder by using the air valve and reading the gauge provided on the unit. Once engine is running you will notice a pressure increase on the gauge. The system is now primed and ready to go.

Aeroflex Fuel Filler Hose

Lightweight, flexible and smooth hose made from a liner of nitrile sheet rubber, with a high tensile spring steel helix covered with nitrile coated nylon fabric, and having an outer cord of neoprene-coated polyester. This hose is able to bend 180° with no kinking!

Applications: Engine and automotive industry. Can be used with all motor fuels and most lubricating oils.

Fuel Caps

In what is probably the world's largest range of tank caps will be found a product suitable for the smallest or largest vehicles - and all those in between! Aero filler caps are suitable for fuel, oil, water and any other liquid you care to mention. The Aeros can be supplied with an assortment of flanges, flange necks and weld-on-necks. The flange/neck type is designed to connect with a suitable hose to a remote tank. All Aero filler caps are shut by means of a lever and every flanged filler cap has available a fixing ring that can be employed should access to the rear of the panel or inside the tank be restricted. The operation of Aero filler caps follows best aircraft practice. To release the filler cap the lever is lifted and turned. To replace and secure the filler cap return the lever to the closed position and snap shut. Aero filler caps fitted with the locks can be left unlocked if required. All locking products are supplied with the two matching keys. We can supply spare keys for all Aero filler caps that have the lock number stamped on the lock.
