OUR VISION

T he Regional Field House is a model for collaborativ e partnerships. The Foothills County and the Town of Okotoks have come together to build this much neede d facility to promote health and wellness excellence. It is a place where communities come together. Nustadia Recreation operates the Field House on behalf of th e Foothills-Okotoks Recreation Society.

REGISTRATIONS

Registration can be done online, in person or by phone. Credit Card payment is required at time of registration online and by phone. Credit card, debit and cash is accepted for registrations done in person.

CANCELLATIONS

All classes are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. Registrants will be notified a soon as a decision has been made to cancel a class. In the case that the Field House cancels a class you will receive a full refund or you may transfer to another class if space permits.

REFUND POLICY

If you withdraw from a camp/program at least 7 days before the start date a $10 cancellation fee per registration will be applied to your refund or credit. No refund or credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than a week from the start date or after a program starts, except for medical reasons (physician’s note required). Withdrawal from programs for medical reasons will be effective from the date of the note and must be received prior to the program end date. Credits can be applied towards another Field House sponsored activity, class, camp or program. No refunds or credits will be applied for withdrawals from pre or post camp care.

WITHDRAWALS

If you withdraw from a class a minimum of 7days before the start date, a $10 cancellation fee per registration will be applied to your refund or credit. No refund or credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than 7 days from the start date or after a program starts except for medical reasons (physician’s note required). Withdrawal from a program for medical reasons after the program has started will be effective from the date of the note and a refund will be provided for remaining classes in the program.

WAITING LIST

If a program has reached its maximum number of registrants, express your interest by adding your name to the waiting list. If a space becomes available or an additional class is added due to the demand you will be notified.

Your pint-sized sports enthusiast will be kept moving as they are introduced to a new sporting activity each week. Basketball, soccer, floor hockey, t-ball, kickball, lacrosse, badminton, and track & field will be played. LIL’ MOVERS (3-5 YEARS)

Do your little ones have energy to burn? This 2-hour class will ensure they burn off all their steam. Focusing on gross motor development through sports, active group and parachute games will have your child jumping, running, throwing and catching. Classes take place on our huge indoor turf field so there is plenty of space to safely run and play.

BOUNCY CASTLE PARTY – STARTING AT $289

Includes everything from the Basic party Package in cluding 1 hour in a party room plus 1 supervised hour with your choice of a Medium bouncy Castle - $85 or Large castle with 2 slides - $120. Maximum 24 ki ds & 4 adults.

NERF CAPTURE THE FLAG PARTY – STARTING AT $289

Includes Nerf guns, eyewear & staff supervised game of Nerf on our turf field which is set up with inflatable barriers PLUS 1 hour in a party roo m. Ages 8+. Maximum 24 kids & 4 adults.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – STARTING AT $263

Put your mental, physical and creative skills to th e test with a mission impossible themed party featuring a laser challenge, secret ag ent treasure hunt and an obstacle course! Includes 1 hour in a party room. Maximum 12 kids & 4 adults. Mini Mission Impossible party available for kids ag es 4 - 6.

CHILDREN’S Programs

BALL HOCKEY (5-8 YEARS)

This recreational ball hockey program will introduce kids to the sport while keeping them active and fit! Each class will include a warm-up, skill development, creative drills, game play, group games and cool down. Focus will be on fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork. A CSA approved helmet is required. Kids may bring their own plastic shaft stick although one will be provided if necessary.

BABYSITTING COURSE (11+ YEARS)

The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course which now has a greater emphasis on first aid skills covers everything from managing difficult behaviors to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency. Instructor: Angie Jackson

GENTLE STRETCH & TONE

This one is for seniors, or anyone else who wants to use gentle movement to gain strength, flexibility and balance. We will take simple movements that will help strengthen your bones and muscles and mix in some gentle stretches that will help you keep the flexibility that you do have and maybe give you a little bit more. CHOREO KICKBOXING

An energetic and dynamic workout that combines choreographed kickboxing routines with cardio and bodyweight exercises, all set to an upbeat and motivational music playlist. This will be a no contact class where no equipment is needed.

Participants can expect a high-energy environment where they will engage in a series of kickboxing moves, such as jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, and kicks, seamlessly integrated with cardio intervals that elevate the heart rate. The choreography is designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, allowing beginners to follow along while providing enough intensity for more experienced participants.

In addition to the kickboxing sequences, the class incorporates bodyweight exercises like squats and lunges. A small portion of the class will also be on the floor as we work to target our arms, abs, and glutes. Remember to bring an exercise mat with you to class and come prepared for an invigorating workout experience! ZUMBA®

Join Janine for an hour long Zumba class every Monday evening! Zumba is a mix between low-intensity to high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party! Zumba combines all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy, and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. As Janine always says at each class, it’s not about getting all of the moves “right”. It’s about getting lost in the music and having fun, all while getting an awesome workout! All fitness and levels of experience are welcome.

These are recreational tournaments intended to provide the opportunity for players of all levels to gain experience and have fun playing a mix of other players. The registration fee is per person and includes a prize for the top 3 teams in each division. Light snacks will be provided. A partner is required, and their full name must be provided at the time of registration. 5 round robin games are guaranteed (additional playoff games for qualified teams). Both partners are required to register separately.
