The Peninsula Retirees Club (Inc) would welcome you to its meetings. The club was established 27 years ago and only has a total membership of 60 members. It gives you the opportunity to meet new people and really get to know and enjoy their company. The club is not affiliated with any other club and is totally independent. Members always come away from our meetings feeling they have gained an extra insight into the topic and a better understanding of today’s issues. Being retired doesn’t mean being cut off from
the modern world, but keeping up to date, understanding today’s issues and learning to cope in a technical world that is ever changing. The club has many activities too; from eating out, visits to attractions, a show, a trip, a factory, art and craft and more so you can enjoy a varied smorgasbord of activities without being board by doing to same thing. The club has two raffles a year among club members. It is not a fund raising organisation, but does support the Community Centre with donations of food for the less fortunate in the community. There is a welfare officer who contacts you should you be sick or need a friendly person to help you in time of need so you are not alone. If you are looking for a club that is stable and friendly, made up of lovely people, limited in membership, has limited demands on your time and is a low cost organisation, why not contact The Peninsula Retirees Club so they can welcome you into their organisation.
