Morgan Anthony Bourque grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, in a community that valued accountability and practical thinking. Those early influences stayed with him as he earned a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University, where he also studied communication and speech. He later attended law school at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and then at South Texas College of Law, where he found a natural place in the courtroom through Mock Trial and Moot Court, winning championships in both. During law school, Morgan developed skills that enabled him to explain complex issues clearly and concisely. He learned to respond quickly during arguments and to speak to juries without relying on rehearsed phrasing. Before starting his own practice, he worked within several parts of the justice system, interning for the United States Attorney’s Office, Department of Justice, Southern District of Texas, as well as for the district attorney’s offices in both Harris County and Montgomery County. These roles provided him with a clear understanding of how investigations are conducted, how plea decisions are made, and how trial preparation unfolds. He treated every experience as a training opportunity, learning how cases are assembled and how assumptions or errors can be challenged. After returning to The Woodlands, he began practicing law with his father. Their firm handles criminal defense, DWI defense, family law, and personal injury matters involving serious injuries or wrongful death. He prepares each case as if it may go to trial, which has contributed to securing more not guilty verdicts in criminal and DWI cases in Montgomery County since 2019 than any other attorney. He also works in family law and personal injury trials, focusing on how evidence is collected and how changes to a person’s life can be shown clearly. In family matters, he encourages clients to prioritize their children’s stability and well-being. In injury cases, he works to show the medical, financial, and social impact of an accident.
