3. Serena Codega

Handcrafted using brass, TIR lens, clear glass and integrated LED source, Alma, designed by Riya Panchal, is a well-balanced and adaptable luminaire. With the TIR lens acting as an enlightened rod, it offers a glare-free warm tone creating a calm and soothing surrounding. Launched November 2021, Alma is the debut product of Meseme Studio. www.mesemestudio.com

With its luxuriant finish and the milky light, the Antoinette table lamp is a tribute to the sparkling, golden-hued reveries of generations of champagne drinkers, with a meaningful nod to royal Versailles decadence. The light of a circular 12V LED module under the lamp’s top lid is diffused by an opaline bowl, producing a soft downward light. www.aristotelisbarakos.com

Serena comes from an intense research path conducted with professional lighting designers Francesco Iannone and Serena Tellini. By recreating the progressive variation of natural light in indoor environments, Serena lamps make light a source of wellbeing. Taking advantage of the disinfectant and germicidal properties of UVC rays, the lamps also sanitise surfaces. www.codegalight.com

6. Lampe De Bureau Nemo

With a simple and elegant design, Morsetto, designed by Carlo Colombo, is a parallelepiped void of metal, inside which an illuminating sphere lives as if it were suspended in equilibrium and held tight in a vice. Morsetto is a table or wall lamp with metal structure in matte white or black finish, with shade in white acid-etched glass. www.pentalight.com

Sé has launched two new pieces with the Slovenian designer – the Grace Sofa and the Silence Lamp. Bringing a sense of repose and harmony, the Silence Lamp is a new large sculptural lamp with a canopy-like shade. With a base in Carrara marble, it is also available in any Sé ceramic colour. www.se-collections.com

In 1965 Charlotte Perriand designed the wallmounted version of the Lampe de Bureau, later transformed into a table lamp. The grey steel stem is anchored to a lifted, almost suspended, darker base and the translucid pressed glass diffuser is available in two finishes, white inside and green, red, blue mare or blue grey outside. www.nemolighting.com
