levating a newly constructed home from its basic form, this project proves the power of expertly employed design elements to transform spaces from standard to sublime. Lindsay Adelman’s double-height chandelier gracefully descends the staircase and sets the tone, breathing sculptural life into the home’s entrance and instantly establishing atmosphere. A brutalist glass top table is topped with design tomes and seasonal stems, while Hickory Chair Pearson poufs add playful shapes underneath. Balancing traditional architecture with contemporary art and furnishings posed a challenge but was met with finesse through thoughtful alignment and artful arrangement. This synthesis fosters a harmonious space that bridges eras and styles seamlessly. Each selected element infuses the “white box” canvas with a distinct personality resonating throughout, from the Merida Studios stair runner to the Christian Liaigre braided sisal rug.
