LEON SNYDER HERITAGE SOCIETY Individuals who have made commitments of future support to the Arboretum are honored as members of the Leon Snyder Heritage Society. Gifts from Heritage Society members include bequests in their wills and living trusts, beneficiary designations in life insurance and retirement plans, and life-income and other splitinterest arrangements such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and lead trusts. In many cases, these gifts afford substantial tax advantages for donors. Friends of the Arboretum who have made or are considering such gifts are encouraged to share their plans with us (in confidence, of course) so that we may recognize and thank them during their lifetimes and, if they wish, discuss with them what they would like their gifts to accomplish.
