The Mindanao Cross

The Mindanao Cross, the little paper with a big cause, is currently the longest running and surviving Catholic newspaper in the Philippines. The Mindanao Cross first hit the streets of Cotabato on February 6, 1948. Over the years, The Mindanao Cross has turned to be a standard bearer of news for the whole of Cotabato, pioneering in peace reporting and advocating for Muslim-Christian solidarity, and the preservation of the cultures and traditions of Moro, indigenous people, and Christian communities in the country’s south.
