John-Mark McGaha is an acclaimed singer, actor, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist. He headlines concerts across the country with Artists Lounge Live, starring in Signed, Sealed, Delivered: John-Mark McGaha Sings Stevie Wonder, Someday At Christmas: John-Mark McGaha Sings Stevie Wonder, Unforgettable John-Mark McGaha Sings Nat King Cole, and A Nat King Cole Christmas. Theatre credits include starring Off-Broadway in the musical Cafe A Gago and portraying jazz great Lionel Hampton in Tuxedo Junction. Other credits nationwide include Smokey Joe's Cafe; Violet; The Ray Charles Legacy; The Sinatra Legacy; and The Cash Legacy at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. Also a music arranger, he provided Music Direction and Adaptation for the world premiere musical Ocean 1222: A Black Family Christmas. Television appearances include a featured musical guest spot on BET's Centric Celebrates Selma: 50th Anniversary Music Special. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, McGaha began studying classical piano at the age of five. He performed internationally as a teen, adding organ, guitar, saxophone, and voice to his repertoire. He studied Piano, Opera, Musical Theatre, and Music Education at Birmingham Southern College and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York. His central passion is worshipping God in spirit and truth. He served as Director of Contemporary Worship and Arts at Trinity United Methodist Church in Birmingham. John and his wife Grace have five beautiful children.

Executive Producer, Artists Lounge Live Michael Ingersoll is a producer, actor, writer, director, touring recording artist, and all-around entertainer. He is the Executive Producer of Artists Lounge Live, which he co-founded with wife Angela Ingersoll. He currently tours the concert Southern Nights: Michael Ingersoll Sings Glen Campbell Ingersoll won acclaim starring as Nick Massi of the Four Seasons in Jersey Boys, originating the Broadway Tour casts in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Recently, he directed Jersey Boys for Arrow Rock Lyceum. Ingersoll also created the retro-rock PBS sensation Under the Streetlamp. He toured internationally with the quartet, starring in four PBS concert specials, and recording five albums. Angela Ingersoll Director, Writer and Artistic Director, Artists Lounge Live Angela Ingersoll is an award-winning actress, singer, comedienne, writer, director, and producer. William Kurk is a diverse and in-demand piano and synthesizer afficiando, music director, band leader, composer, and recording artist. Chicago Theatre credits include Music Directing Sarafina (Black Theatre Alliance Award nomination), Once On This Island, Ragtime, Hair, Runaways, Godspell, Nefertiti, The Wiz, and Cabaret. He also music directs several concerts in theaters nationwide with Artists Lounge Live. Kurk has toured with popular acts including The Dells, Marvelettes, Platters, and Coasters, and accompanied an array of notable artists including Dionne Warwick, Melba Moore, Martha Reeves, Koko Taylor, Andre DeShields, Taylor Dane, Chico DeBarge, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, KRS-ONE, Kool Moe Dee, Michelle Williams, Ronnie DeVoe, and Bill Cosby. As a recording artist, Kurk has released seven full-length albums, including The Sound: Volumes 1,2, & 3, Pop Fusion, Super Pop Fusion, Legacy, and Willionaire. Chuck Larkin Music Director/Piano (Sat - Sun) Chuck Larkin is an award-winning pianist, music director, conductor, composer, and cabaret artist. He returns to Milwaukee Rep after playing Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll Sings Judy Garland. Larkin spent seven years as Associate Conductor and Keyboardist for Jersey Boys in the Broadway in Chicago and National Tour casts. Music Director credits include world premieres of Mr Dickens’ Hat, Shining Lives, and River’s End; also Far From Home, Sentimental Journey: A Musical Tale of Love and War, A Civil War Christmas, and At Wit’s End; and work at American Folklore Theatre. A renowned cabaret artist, Larkin is a regular at Chicago’s Davenport’s, Venus Cabaret, and countless other club venues. He also toured extensively with Franc D’Ambrosio’s Broadway Cabaret series. Composer and lyricist credits include Hen Lake, Sophie’s Masterpiece, and the awardwinning River’s End. An evening of his songs, Keep Me In Love, received an After Dark Award for Chicago’s Number 1 Cabaret Show. Larkin performed his original works at Chicago Humanities Festival, New York’s ASCAP/ MAC songwriter showcase, and onstage at Carnegie Hall in Now and Then, A Salute to Contemporary Songwriters. in the Chicago area, Ryan Bennett is an in-demand performer in many styles of music. He played drums in the hit Broadway show Jersey Boys, both the Broadway in Chicago production and National Touring company. Other performances of note include shows with pop songstress Tori Amos, trumpeter Randy Brecker, and guitarist John Abercrombie. Bennett has performed at clubs and festival venues at home and abroad and has toured extensively throughout the US. He has appeared on three PBS specials playing drumset, hand percussion, and orchestral percussion. Additionally, Ryan Bennett is an accomplished and sought-after videographer and photographer who specializes in capturing live performance.

Jeff Hamann Upright Bass Jeff Hamann is an accomplished bassist and educator who has taught and performed for over thirty years. He currently teaches and performs for the Milwaukee Jazz Institute. Hamann has been heard by millions over the last twenty years on the National Public Radio Show “Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know?.” He has performed throughout the U.S and toured internationally with a who’s who of jazz legends that include Charles McPherson, Benny Golson, Phil Woods, Ben Sidran, Frank Morgan, Ray Appleton, Peter Bernstein, Brian Lynch, David Hazeltine, Eric Alexander and Cheyenne Jackson. Charles Heath Percussion Alternate Charles “Rick” Heath IV is a world renowned drummer, educator, and producer who has toured and recorded with jazz legend Ramsey Lewis, Grammy and Tony Award winning songstress Dee Dee Bridgewater, Phillip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire, and many others. He also served as the resident drummer with the National Tour of Oprah Winfrey and Quincy Jones’ production of The Color Purple. As an educator, Heath is an adjunct professor at Columbia College and the University of Illinois (circle campus), as well as the founder of the Heath School of Music for Chicago’s inner-city students aged 5-18. Aaron Lichamer Lighting Designer Based out of Chicago/Milwaukee, Aaron is the current Lighting & Video Director for Milwaukee Repertory Theater. He has worked extensively throughout the Midwest, and is glad to have had the opportunity to design for Milwaukee Rep. He holds a BFA in Lighting Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Jesse Montijo Saxophone/Flute Jesse Montijo is a Milwaukee-based saxophonist, composer, and multiinstrumentalist. He has performed with several Grammy Award-winning artists including Blues legend Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove, and Ibanez guitarist Larry Mitchell. Other collaborations include working with Fred Wesley (musical director for James Brown’s backing unit “the J.B.’s”) and Sam Mayfield (music director for soul legend Solomon Burke.) Montijo is among a handful of saxophonists in the world that perform Flamenco music. He spent two years touring with the American Flamenco Repertory Company, and was featured at the ‘International Festival Flamenco.’ Montijo is a member of NYC’s Jazz Foundation of America, representing them in Milwaukee with the Jazz Foundation Quartet. Josh Hart Production Coordinator Josh is delighted to return to the Milwaukee Rep team! After graduating from the University of Chicago, he moved to Milwaukee and worked at Milwaukee Rep for two seasons as a stage management resident and fellow. Some of his favorite recent shows include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, A Christmas Carol and Piano Men at Milwaukee Rep and Stew at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. As always, he sends all of his love and gratitude to Amaris, Stephan, Rufio, Zippy and Billina.

winning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight of every season. Milwaukee Rep directing credits include the world premieres of One House Over, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol, Five Presidents and American Song. Also directed for Milwaukee Rep: Titanic The Musical, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, Things I Know To Be True (American Premiere), Junk, The Glass Menagerie, Of Mice and Men, Othello, Death of a Salesman, The History of Invulnerability, End of the Rainbow, Clybourne Park and Bombshells. Some of his New York and international work includes Speaking in Tongues, The Milliner and Blunt Speaking, in addition to creating and directing the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the award-winning Derby Playhouse in the UK from 1992-2002, where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards from his time at Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its world premiere at Milwaukee Rep in an upcoming season. at Milwaukee Rep, under Chad’s guidance the theater has grown significantly from a $9M to $14M organization. He’s completed two capital campaigns, one to remodel and expand the Stackner Cabaret and the other to build the endowment, launch the John (Jack) D. Lewis New Play Development Program, create a new A Christmas Carol and deepen the theater’s community engagement programs. Through his efforts, the theater has been awarded UPAF’s Good Steward Award six times and became the only performing arts organization in Wisconsin with a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Previously he was the Associate Executive Director at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, where he was instrumental in opening the Mead Center for American Theater, a 200,000 square feet, performing arts complex dedicated to American voices and playwrights. While at Arena Stage, he worked on the Broadway transfers of Next to Normal (Pulitzer Prize; Tony Award), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Tony Award), Wishful Drinking starring Carrie Fisher, in addition to the world premieres of Marcus Gardley’s Every Tongue Confess starring Phylicia Rashad and Red Hot Patriot starring Kathleen Turner. He has been named to Milwaukee Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 and a “Friend of the Hispanic Community” by the United Community Center. He currently serves as the President of the Milwaukee Arts Partners, Vice President of the Board of Pathways High School, Treasurer of Imagine MKE and Coordinator for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion for AFS Student Exchange Programs. Bauman is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management program with a Master of Fine Arts in producing from the CalArts. Myth 2: Planned gifts are only for the wealthy. There is no minimum amount required for a planned gift. In fact, you may even be able to make a bigger impact than you thought possible when you make a planned gift.

Myth 3: Estate planning is only about distributing my assets. Estate planning is an opportunity to reflect your values, secure your legacy, and ensure the things you are passionate about –like Milwaukee Rep – are sustained.

Myth 1: I can only make a planned gift through an estate plan or will. You can select Milwaukee Rep as a beneficiary on your life insurance policy, retirement plan, or charitable gift annuity. This means that anyone can make a planned gift.
