FINANCE OFFICE The Defense Military Pay Office, 662 Sheppard Pl., is a support activity at Fort Eustis. The DMPO is a subordinate office of the Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Indianapolis Center. The DMPO mission is to provide full military pay service, permanent change of station travel service, and limited disbursing service to Soldiers stationed at Fort Eustis, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story (East) and Fort Monroe. The DMPO also provides service to the Wounded Warrior service members in the Hampton Roads area. Satellite finance liaison offices are located at JEBLCFS (East) and Fort Monroe. Customer service hours for the Fort Eustis office are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, call 878-2526.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS BANK OF AMERICA Bank of America, 1327 Patton and Walker streets, is a private financial institution providing banking services to the area’s civilian and military community. For individual customers and businesses, Bank of America provides a myriad of financial services such as mortgage loans, personal loans, checking and savings accounts, free online banking with bill pay, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts and investments. Four automated teller machines are located on post – two at the banking center, one at the Post Exchange and one at the hospital. The bank is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday. For more information, call 887-7840.

1ST ADVANTAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION The 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union, 1317 Patton Ave., has been committed to providing financial services to members for more than 50 years. The credit union offers a wide range of products and services designed to meet all of your financial needs. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school on the Virginia Peninsula, or has a family member who does, is eligible to join. Services include savings, checking with free bill pay when you sign up for eStatements, free 24-hour Internet banking, and access to more than 85 fee-free ATMs across the Peninsula. We

also offer VISA Check Cards and Credit Cards, a variety of loans and mortgage products with competitive rates, as well as debt management and alternative financial planning. The credit union has two ATMs at the Lee Boulevard office – one walk-up machine and one drive-up machine – and one ATM located inside the Transportation School, Building 705. FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES The Fort Eustis Fire and Emergency Services Division, 648 Washington Blvd., is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for administrative support. The Fire Station is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All fire, police and medical emergencies are handled by dialing 911. For non-emergency assistance, call 878-1008. Those interested in fire safety information for the home or workplace may contact the Fire Prevention Office at 878-4281 ext. 325. Fort Eustis Fire & Emergency Services also participates in the Child Safety Seat Program. To have your child safety seat inspected or for more information about the program, please contact the EMS Office at 878-4281 ext. 328. Fire & Emergency Services

HOUSING All Soldiers with qualifying dependents can apply for on-post housing through Balfour Beatty Communities, located at 126 Madison Avenue. The post has more than 850 homes. The waiting time for these homes varies, depending on the Soldier’s rank and number of bedrooms required. To improve the quality of family housing for Soldiers, onpost housing has been privatized through the Army Residential Communities Initiative program. The RCI program at Fort Eustis is
