Sing Your Way Up The Mountain Enjoy The View At Dierks Bentley’s Latest Concert
C
limbing a mountain is a lot like going to a Dierks Bentley concert: It’s a heart-racing, hard-to-breathe, exhilarating experience! Both have stunning views (that beard, those eyes!) and moments of reflective introspection (like when he sings “Living” about the times we take life for granted by just going through the motions). And, it may not technically be exercise, but singing along to his huge collection of songs and 18 No. 1 singles will take your breath away — in a good way. See for yourself when Bentley comes to the outdoor Dos Equis Pavilion this month as part of his Burning Man tour, where he will heat up the summer with hits like “Women, Amen,” “Nothing on but the Stars” and “Burning Man” among others from his ninth studio album, “The Mountain.” As a country artist who has dabbled in folk and rock ’n’ roll, Bentley is constantly learning about himself, taking risks and growing. His latest release, for which he co-wrote 10 of the 13 songs, is a perfect example of this, as he escaped to the mountains of Colorado for a while to write it. One of the main themes is the conflict you experience when half your soul drifts through the air and the other half is rooted at home. The result of his hard work was “The Mountain,” which earned the highest debut sales of his career and became his seventh charttopping album. During his 16 years in music, Bentley has also won Country Music Association awards, Academy of Country Music awards and 14 Grammy nominations, created a lifestyle collection called Desert Son and opened four Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row locations in the U.S. Some of his iconic songs include “What Was I Thinkin’,” “Drunk on a Plane,” “Different for Girls” and “Somewhere on a Beach.” Clear blue skies, positive vibes, passion and life lessons can all be found at a Dierks Bentley show, along with high-quality country music, of course. Mountains can either block your path in life or give you an opportunity to rise above your problems — join Bentley in choosing the latter. The view is stunning from up here!
