“We frequently replace older windows, and create windows to suit character homes where the owners are extending, or adding on,” says Tony.

A current project involves creating fi ve large double hung sash windows for the Cotters building in High Street.
“It is an historic façade, and recreating those authentic details is a passion for us,” says Tony.
Jobs come in from Banks Peninsula, Ohoka, and Rangiora as well as Christchurch.
“We’re busy,” says Tony, “but I’m really happy with the size of our business at the moment because it means we can focus on crafting bespoke pieces that give us great satisfaction and our clients a lot of joy.”
Now is an ideal time to bring those illfi tting and damaged doors and windows to the attention of Tony and his team. They’ll have them working perfectly and looking beautiful before winter sets in.
Tony does have one piece of advice for character home owners.
“It would be really great if people would begin their repairs before things get too bad. It is rewarding for all if we can repair and restore, rather than needing to start from scratch with a door or window.”
