But writing that note--whether on your best stationery, via e-mail or just in your mind--helps reset your attitude and turns jealousy into inspiration, DeVee says. Telling someone you admire their success and see it as inspiration and motivation for your own, can work magic. “When you’ve done enough of these that your new response to someone else’s success becomes, ‘That’s amazing! I’m next!’ social media will actually uplift and motivate you instead of dragging you down.”
