In that place of abiding, God began to shape my heart by showing me what He delights in. In Scripture, we see that although humanity was scattered across languages and nations, God has always held a greater vision. It is a vision where people from every tribe, language, and nation are gathered in worship before Him. This vision became more real to me in Nepal. I caught glimpses of it in simple yet meaningful moments, during church services, over shared meals, and even while playing football together. I came to deeply cherish time spent with the Nepalese body of Christ. In those moments, I sensed the Lord’s

delight as His children from different cultures and tongues came together to love Him and one another. To me, this is a glimpse of the hope we have: a day when divisions no longer separate us, and we stand united in worship before the King of Kings. To anyone who is discerning whether to go on a MITE, embark on a longterm mission trip, or even reach out to someone from a different culture, I encourage you to take that step. These opportunities allow us to see more of God’s heart and character.
