Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc.

Founded in 1974, MEOC is the designated Area Agency on Aging and public transit provider for Lee, Scott and Wise counties and the City of Norton in far southwestern Virginia. MEOC also operates the Mountain Empire Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, Southwest Virginia Children's Advocacy Center and the Mountain Laurel Cancer Support & Resource Center.
