KAHWET LEILA Café and Exhibition space
Gemmayze, Gourand St. +961 1 324 888 Customercare@leilarestaurant.com
Falling under the umbrella of “Leila”, Kahwet Leila resembles the authenticity of the Lebanese culture and nostalgia offering a charming and warm setup along with the traditional home-made delicacies. It is in essence, a coffee shop, mirroring the old Beirut through the décor, setup and offerings. The concept is based on the revolution of old cafe’s giving Beirut a charming spirit, and the theme of ‘dakakin’ or small traditional stores found around old neighborhoods throughout Lebanon. VINTAGE BAZAR This year, Leila is showing her customers, family and friends a fresh new side of her that is embedded with innovation at Kahwet Leila Gemmayze. To reflect leila’s roots from the mountains and her story behind her authentic and flavorsome preparations at the kitchen, an introduction of the “Food & Design” concept is presented at Beirut Design Week to resemble the true meaning of Leila’s touch of creativity and design with the help of natural elements. With that being said, and since summer is on the verge, we selected the utilization of fresh fruits & vegetables in a distinctive and exceptional display that will take place inside of the outlet to contribute with a whole new meaning to the “Food & Design” concept.
