WELCOME TO BCC, GAVIN!

Gavin Leon recently joined BCC as our new Director of Racquets. Gavin is a Racquets Professional with over eight years of experience in the private club industry. He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California with a B.A. in Economics and a M.A. in Kinesiology with a concentration in High Level Coaching and Sport Management. Gavin is a USPTA Elite Professional, certified Cardio Tennis/TRX provider, PTR member, ACE certified personal trainer, and an IPTPA certified pickleball instructor. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Gavin has made the game of tennis his life’s work. He finished his high school career as the number one Boys High School player in the nation. During his high school tenure, he received recognition on the regional, state, and national level. As an internationally recognized junior player, Gavin made the big move to the U.S. to pursue an opportunity to play tennis at St. Mary’s College in California. As a collegiate athlete, he was ranked in the NCAA Division I Top 50 and received numerous honors, including being named to the WCC All-Conference Team. Gavin began his career in the private club industry in 2013 at Moraga Country Club as an Associate Tennis Professional. In 2014, he became the Head Tennis Professional at Blackhawk Country Club. Most recently, Gavin served as the Director of Tennis at Marin Country Club in Novato, California for the last five years. Gavin and his wife Taylor are excited to develop roots in Baltimore as they begin to grow their family. Please join us in welcoming Gavin to Baltimore Country Club! ◆
