Andrew Reynolds REYNOLDS, Andrew Thomas, 71, left this earth to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at McGuire VA Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Minor and Offie Estelle Reynolds. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Watson Reynolds; children, Philip Reynolds, Angela Reynolds Ryder (Myles), Heather Reynolds Gunn and Louise Riendeau; daughter-in-law, Shari Reynolds; five MONDAY EVENING 4 PM 4:30

grandchildren, Courtney, Dustin, Cameron, Kierstin and Zachary; siblings, Patricia Hellner, Mary Himes and John Reynolds; and a host of nieces and nephews, one he loved like a son, Adam Sauvager. He was born and raised in Roanoke, graduated from Jefferson Senior, served in the Air Force and retired from National Computer Systems. He had a great passion for mentoring and volunteering with the youth, coaching and umpiring Little League. He loved the Lord and possessed a very loving and giving spirit. He served as a deacon at Cool Spring Baptist Church, was active in Promise Keepers and led Bible study for 20 years at Barrett Learning Center for incarcerated young boys. Dan Wade WADE, Dan Field Jr., passed peacefully Saturday, July 26, 2014, leaving behind all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kitty Lann Wade; and sisters, Mary W. Ramsey and Gladys Oliver. His dearest family includes two spe-

cial nieces, Carlene R. Harmeling and her husband, Fred “Bucky”, B. Mae Shepherd and her son, Danny, his namesake. He is survived by his sister, Frances Falls Bowles; her sons, Billy, Bucky, Barry and Bruce Falls. Also survived by Gladys’ children, Sharon Bates, Marc Oliver, Judy Coe and Lora Lynch. Left to cherish his memory are great-nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Dan was a devoted Christian and member of the Mundie Bible Class at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville. He was a life-long member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church in Dillwyn. Dan was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country proudly. Dan was employed by C. Porter Vaughan Realtors for 40 years

as business manager. The family received friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, on July 28, where funeral services were held on July 29. Interment followed at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church in Dillwyn. The family is grateful for the care received by the Critical Care Unit nurses and doctors at Regional Memorial Hospital, especially Dr. Stanley Tucker and Dr. Drew Jones.
