Classic road racers are essential parts of MERIDA’s 700C portfolio – in spite of the expedient trend towards aero road bikes, and not only because of optical reasons. For the 2014 season, the SCULTURA had been replaced by the REACTO EVO as the official working tool of TEAM LAMPRE-MERIDA. Nevertheless, its superb symbiosis of powerful propulsion and top-level comfort still convinces in the new model year. Worth mentioning: also available as a JULIET version now. Page 120 f.
The World Champion’s bike and – as REACTO KOM (“King of the Mountain“) especially modified for Rui Costa’s participation in the Tour de Suisse – the bike of this year’s overall winner. Already in its first model year, our REACTO EVO has proven itself in several tests. Its aerodynamic data, orientation towards propulsion, and saddle comfort (superb for this road-racer category) are far more than just calculation values. In 2015 the REACTO portfolio expands to include new carbon and newly developed aluminium models. Page 128 f.
Based on our time-trial specialist WARP TT but totally independent from restrictive UCI regulations: The WARP TRI is MERIDA’s completely new Triathlon bike for Season 2015. This specialist comprises all aerodynamic findings our R&D experts have gathered during the elaborate work for TEAM LAMPRE-MERIDA. In addition, the geometry optimized for Triathlon and the modularly adaptable cockpit guarantee a true high-end performance already in the entry sector. Page 151 f.
Cyclo-crossers are immensely versatile: they are excellently suitable for ambitious road racers who want to keep in shape in the off season and are superbly suited as well for sporty bikers who daily ride to work not only on asphalt but also on forest paths. Our CYCLO CROSS (revised for 2015) is as tough as it is sophisticated: Both the new frame and the new carbon fork with a 15 mm thru-axle feature internal cable routing. In addition, the rear disc-brake mount is now neatly tucked away the rear frame triangle. Page 162 f.

Especially with regard to tough races on cobbled roads, international biking stars like the pro athletes of our TEAM LAMPRE-MERIDA welcome an extra amount of comfort. With its special geometry, the optimally flexing stays, and suitability for wider tyres, the RIDE is also the bike of choice for WorldTour non-participations as well. New for Season 2015: the discbrake version RIDE DISC with a modified fork and a rear end which has been specifically re-engineered according to the requirements of the new concept. Page 136 f.
“Contre le montre” – the race against the clock is among the toughest challenges which can be tackled by bike athletes. Nevertheless, individual and team time trial both mean a hard fight not only for the riders alone. Already during development, even the smallest details can be decisive with regard to the overall concept. Our WARP TT is one of the outstanding examples for the fact that elaborate wind-tunnel work does definitely pay off: Optimized down to the very last fibre, the WARP TT specifically convinces with its almost incredible options for individualization. Swift like our road machines and equally hungry for speed thanks to the same geometry – but markedly more suitable for everyday use. As road racers with flat handlebars, our SPEEDERs are the optimal choice for those who love the thrill of speed but see their bike not only as pure sports equipment but also as a fast means of transport (e.g. for commuting). New for Season 2015: disc-brake carbon SPEEDER variants, which share their platform with our also brand-new RIDE DISC. Page 154 f.
Sporty, versatile and ideally equipped for every day use: in season 2015, the highly reliable aluminium bikes of our CROSSWAY family keep delighting all those who are looking for “the one for everything” ride. Thanks to a quite light but truly robust aluminium frame, our CROSSWAY is superbly suitable for the most different purposes. Its pilot rides on and off the road with equal ease – due to reliable 63 mm suspension forks (depending on model: lockable from the handlebar) and smoothly running 28” tires to provide adequate grip.
