ECCQ celebrates International Women’s Day 2024

The 2024 International Women’s Day breakfast, hosted by the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ)’s Women’s Ethnic Network (WEN) will be held again in the picturesque Victoria Park on Friday 8th March from 7:00am, for a 7:20am start.

This year, the theme is:

Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.

Join hundreds of multicultural women for an illuminating breakfast set to recognise the valuable contribution of women to Queensland, uplift women in our community, and celebrate emerging leaders! We will be announcing the winners of the ECCQ Advancing Women Scholarships: the Cleo Xynias Multicultural Woman of the Year scholarship, and the Emerging Professional scholarship.

We have Three amazing guest speakers: Naa Anang, Juliana Mantilla, and Hon Minister Shannon Fentiman! And Sara Shams will be our MC.
