MPAC is dedicated to providing exceptional arts education to children and adults of all ages and abilities. Our Performing Arts School (PAS), founded in 2006, is a performancebased theatrical training program which serves approximately 700 students per year with over 20 classes a week within a supportive and creative atmosphere.

Cast Biographies

TURNER ALLEN ( Ensemble) is 17 years old and is extremely excited to share his 10 th theatrical performance with MPAC. Turner has performed Mary Poppins, Addams Family, Fiddler on the Roof, and Chicago. He also likes baking on the weekends. He would like to thank his family, friends and wonderful director for this opportunity of a lifetime.

LAYNA ARVANITES ( Kids Ensemble) Layna is very excited to be a part of Matilda at Mayo Performing Arts Center. She has attended MPAC musical theatre programs and productions since she was five years old. In addition to her work at MPAC, she appeared as Lucy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown with Annie’s Playhouse. She loves acting and singing and has voice instruction with Chelsea Friedlander. You may have seen her as a finalist at Morristown OnStage in 2022. Layna attends 6th grade at Frelinghuysen Middle School in Morristown where she recently performed in their production of Peter Pan. In addition to singing and acting she loves art and ice skating. She would like to thank her parents, family and friends and especially her dog, Didi, for all their support and encouragement.

LAYLA BLAKEY ( Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of Mayo Performing Arts Center’s production of Matilda! Some of her past roles include Robin (Godspell ), Henrietta ( All Shook Up), and Cinderella’s Mother ( Into the Woods). She would like to thank Ms. Cathy, Charles, Ellen, and the entire production team behind the show for all of their incredible work, her family and friends for always being supportive and loving, and the entire cast of Matilda for making her feel welcome for her first MPAC show.

BRENDAN BLAZIER ( Ensemble) is so excited to be one of the Big Kids in Matilda. This is his second mainstage show at MPAC and he is also a member of MPAC’s Performing Arts Company. In other local productions, Brendan has played Nigel Bottom in Something Rotten, Charlie Brown in YAGMCB, Evan in 13 and many more. He would like to thank the entire production team for putting together such an incredible show and fun experience, and all of his friends in the incredible cast!

KACIE BROADFIELD ( Mrs. Wormwood ) is stoked to be returning to the MPAC stage for the first time since West Side Story in 2017! Favorite credits: Ghost Quartet (Pearl/Percussion), Cabaret (Lulu), Take Me Away (Ensemble - Hunterdon Hills Playhouse), The Fantasticks (Luisa), Heathers (Goth Girl, Veronica U/S), Matilda (Acrobat), as well as performing at the NY Ren Faire. IAMT ‘18. She wants to give the utmost thanks to Cathy, Charles and Ellen for this bonkers opportunity to play a dream role she never thought was possible. Lots of thanks and love to her parents, her cats and her dearest Scrawny for the never-ending support, and also to Lesli Margherita, her biggest inspiration. “I look nice… and so do you.”

AIDAN BUNETA ( Michael/Ensemble) is a Florham Park resident and a sophomore at Hanover Park High School. Aidan most recently played Sgt Fogarty in Hanover Park’s spring production of Chicago and Fred in Rad Theatricalʼs Miracle on 34th Street this December. Additionally, Aidan has played Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Shrek in Shrek the Musical and Roger in Grease. He is a member of the Hanover Park Choir, Chamber Singers and Chess Club and is goalie for his school and town soccer teams. Aidan is excited to be participating in his first MPAC production and is looking forward to a memorable run of Matilda with this incredible cast!

CHARLOTTE CAMA ( Miss Honey ) is so excited to be playing Miss Honey in MPACʼs Mainstage production of Matilda! Some of her recent shows/ roles specifically at Morristown High School include “Mrs. Chumley” in Harvey, “Portia” in Something Rotten!, “Evil Gabbi” in She Kills Monsters, “Cinderella” in Rodgers and Hammersteinʼs Cinderella, and at MPAC, “Mrs. Mooneyham” in School of Rock ! She would like to thank her friends and family for constantly supporting her and Cathy & Charles for giving her this wonderful opportunity. Break legs everyone! :)

BRYELLA CHALLANDES ( Lavender ) is so excited to be back performing on the mainstage at MPAC. Last year she portrayed Sophie in School of Rock. Bryella was also seen at The Growing Stage in The Story of the Nutcracker (Mina, Snowflake and Candy Striper 1). She has been attending classes at The Growing Stage, Centenary College, and Mayo Performing Arts Center since the age of five. Bryella thanks the cast and crew for all the hard work that they put into the show. She also wants to thank her parents and family for always being there to support her. Enjoy the performance!

NAOMI COHEN ( Ensemble) is very excited to take part in her first MPAC mainstage production. Naomi is 13 years old and lives in Morristown. She has previously played Anita in West Side Story and Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Naomi would like to thank Jenny Boeckel for helping reach where she is today, as well as Cathy, Charles, Ellen, and everyone involved in the production for making it such a fulfilling experience.

KAYLA COLCHAMIRO ( Kids Ensemble) is so excited for her debut spring musical at MPAC! Kayla is an 8 th grader at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy. She has loved being a member of the MPAC Performing Arts Company this year! Some of her previous musical theater credits have included: Seussical (Horton), The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis), and Madagascar (Melman). Kayla was a part of the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Conservatory in 2021 as well as their August Intensive in 2022. Kayla enjoys singing and has received recognition in the Hal Leonard Vocal Competitions in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Aside from performing, Kayla loves reading, writing, exploring nature, and cooking. Kayla thanks her family, Cathy Roy, Charles Santoro, the rest of the MPAC community, and her vocal coach.

ELLA CONROY ( Ensemble) is so happy to be back on the MPAC stage in Matilda! This is Ella’s fourth spring musical. Previously, she was a member of the Youth Chorus in West Side Story, Baby Bear in Shrek, and as Jess Sanderson in School of Rock Ella is a member of the MPAC Performing Arts Company. Ella can be seen and heard in various commercials, podcasts and video games. Ella would like to thank Cathy Roy and the entire MPAC staff for their support and guidance!!

AMELIA CORCORAN ( Kids Ensemble) is an eighth grader at Frelinghuysen Middle School and is thrilled to return to the MPAC Spring Musical after playing bassist Katie in last year’s School of Rock. Earlier this spring, she starred in the title role in FMS’s production of Peter Pan, and she played a dual role in FMS’s The Wizard of Oz last year. She has also appeared on the MPAC stage in numerous class performances and continues to play bass in the FMS Jazz Band. Amelia would like to thank her family, Cathy, Charles, Ellen, Crystal, and all her friends for their endless support. She also thanks Cooper for being the absolute best mafia narrator.

NINA DAROCHA ( Kids Ensemble) is super excited for her first Spring Musical at MPAC! Nina started acting and singing four years ago. She started off as Wendy in Tinkerbell, the King in 12 Dancing Princesses, the bully in 100 Dresses, Emma in Emma the Pop Musical, Ms. Darbus in High School Musical, Anna in Frozen Jr., Mr. Callahan in Legally Blonde Jr., and Annie in Annie Jr. Nina also enjoys Musical Theater classes at MPAC and has starred as Wednesday in Addams Family, Pepper in Annie and Jackie in Gypsy. Nina loves the MPAC stage and all of her new friends and teachers!

JEN-ANN ELISME ( Ensemble) is so excited for her first production. Some shows she has done are Tuck Everlasting and High School Musical. It is such a great opportunity to be working with this great cast!

JAMES FICO ( Ensemble) is extremely excited for Matilda. James is in the teen ensemble and this is his first main stage musical with MPAC although he has done many of the MTW classes. He would like to thank his friends and family who have always supported him in following his acting dreams. He would also like to thank his first director and his personal idol, Jon Rodriguez for consistently supporting and accepting James and teaching him all he knows. The entire cast and crew have worked very hard to bring this show to life so sit back relax and enjoy Matilda the Musical !

JOSIE GULISANO (Kids Ensemble) is excited to be back on the MPAC stage! She played Madison in School of Rock last June at MPAC. Josie is a sophomore at Morristown High School where she performed in Cinderella, She Kills Monsters, Something Rotten and Harvey. She was a player in Pippin at Spotlight Kids Company. Josie was a lead in the NYU grad student film Ladybug. Josie plays the guitar and writes music. She would like to thank the cast, crew and directors for this wonderful experience. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their support during this crazy time in my life.

GRADY WAYNE LEE HALL ( Kids Ensemble) is proud to return to the MPAC stage after previously performing in School of Rock ! Grady was awarded the Donald William Yaw Youth Performance Award from CCM for his performance as Young Will in Big Fish. Prior performances include Drowsy Chaperone (ensemble), School of Rock (Billy), The Christmas Story (Randy), Elf Junior (Michael). Grady is currently a 7 th grader at Delbarton School. He thanks his family for all their love, support, chauffeur service, and especially thanks Cathy, Charles and Ellen for their support and direction. Grady is proud to be sharing the stage with his older brother, Ryan.

RYAN SHAWN RICE HALL (Ensemble) is proud to be returning to the MPAC stage for having previously performed in School of Rock ! Ryan’s greatest pride is working as a peer mentor for MPAC’s Miracle Project. Ryan is also a member of MPAC’s Performing Arts Company. Prior performances include Loveʼs Labour’s Lost (Boyet), Working (Charlie Blossom), Farnsworth Invention (Harlan Honn & Young Philo), Frozen (Hans), The Christmas Story (Ralphie), Elf (Michael). Ryan is currently a 10th grader at Delbarton School. He thanks his family for all their love, support and chauffeur service and especially thanks Cathy and Charles for their support and direction. Ryan is proud to be sharing the stage with his younger brother, Grady.

OLIVIA HAMADA ( Kids Ensemble/ Matilda u/s) is thrilled to be joining MPAC’s 9 th annual spring production of Matilda and fulfilling a dream she’s had since stepping on stage. Olivia has been in many other junior productions, such as: Annie Jr. (Annie), The Little Mermaid Jr. (Ursula), Shrek Jr. (Teen Fiona), Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Rose), Once Upon A Mattress Jr. (Princess Winnifred), and Seussical Jr. (JoJo). Thank you to the Matilda/MPAC team for your amazing love and support, my incredible family, friends, teachers, and others who have been there every step of the way — I am forever grateful. Enjoy the show!

JAKE HAMILTON (Tommy ) is thrilled to make his MPAC debut in Matilda! A seventh grader at Sparta Middle School, Jake was most recently seen as Donkey in the SMS production of Shrek the Musical, Jr. In his free time, Jake enjoys playing piano, clarinet & tenor sax, doing robotics, and tae kwon do. He would like to thank his parents, sister, voice teachers at Elisa Girlando Studios, friends & family, and the entire MPAC creative team for believing in him. He is so grateful for this experience and the friends he's made along the way.

JULIA HELMS ( Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in Matilda, MPAC’s 9th Annual Spring Musical! She has most recently played Belle in Beauty and the Beast at One Voice Vocal Studio. Julia has also spent many seasons performing with Broadway Arts Lab Company. She looks forward to continuing her involvement in MPAC’s classes, and has made meaningful memories and lasting friendships within them.

ALEXANDRA HERMANS ( Hortensia) is so excited to be making her debut at MPAC as Hortensia in the fantastic musical production of Matilda. Alexandra most recently appeared in a national commercial for Papa Johns Pizza as well as playing Fiona, in Shrek, with the Pebble Players. A few of her other past roles include Annie (Tessie), Sound of Music (Brigitta), and Mean Girls (Samantha). Alexandra is honored to have been accepted into the Papermill Playhouse Conservatory this upcoming summer, as well as for the past three years. Performing is her passion. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and sister Ella, along with her voice coach, Beverly Chisholm, for their love and continued support.

LIAM HOUSTON ( Kids Ensemble) is thrilled to return to the MPAC stage for Matilda. Previously, he was seen as Freddy Hamilton in last season’s School of Rock. Other credits include The Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, Jr., High School Musical II, as well as several MPAC class performances, school concerts and recitals. When he’s not on the stage, Liam enjoys playing the drums, following the Mets, the Giants, and the Devils, and playing with his dog, Duncan.

JOSIAH IRWIN ( Ensemble) is in their first main stage production at MPAC, previously appearing in Summer Youth Pirates of Penzance (Major General/ Pirate) and A Christmas Carol (Dick Wilkens/ Townsperson/3rd Gentleman/Fezzi-wig Guest) at Chatham Community Players. Josiah is grateful for all their teachers at MPAC ARTSED over the last six years and Susan Speidel for preparing them for this opportunity. When not on stage you may find them unicycling, riding horses, crocheting, and juggling Diabolo. Favorite pastime: making others smile.

COLE JANUZZI ( Mr. Wormwood ) is a junior at Bridgewater Raritan High School. He is excited to be back performing at MPAC. He has appeared on Broadway in Fun Home! Cole has also been in various community theater productions including Grease as Danny Zuko and Urinetown as Bobby Strong. He loves his MPAC Family and can’t wait to hit the stage again! Good Luck to the cast and Crew of this amazing show!!

AVRIL KAGAN ( Matilda) is thrilled to be performing with MPAC in her second main stage production! Some of Avrilʼs favorite performances include School of Rock (Summer), Annie (Annie), and Dance Divas Nutcracker (Gracie). TV Credit: Evil Lives Here (Child Karen). DANIELLA KIMOWITZ ( Kids Ensemble) recently played Marty the zebra in Madagascar (Briarcliff Middle School), Donkey in Shrek (Briarcliff Middle School) and Young Elsa in Frozen (Ramah Poconos). Daniella would like to thank her family for all the support and love.

JOSEPH LANIGAN (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in his second MPAC production. Last year, Joseph appeared in MPAC’s production of School of Rock. He has also appeared in The Addams Family, Gypsy, High School Musical Junior, Beauty and the Beast and many more. Joseph has studied dance at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and has also studied private voice and acting with Marissa Rago. He would like to thank his family, friends, Cathy, Charles, Ellen, Dustin, and the entire cast and crew for a wonderful experience.

MADISON MAGAN ( Kids Ensemble) Introducing Madison Magan, the 10-year-old triple threat! At just 10 years old, Madison has already been dancing for eight years and singing for four. Her dedication to the arts has led her to compete in numerous singing and dancing competitions, where she has consistently impressed judges and audiences alike. In fact, she recently won the triple crown threat at True Talent competition, a remarkable achievement for someone so young. Madisonʼs talent extends beyond the competition stage, as she has held lead roles in several school and dance studio plays, including the iconic princess Jasmine in Aladdin and the adventurous Peter Pan. When sheʼs not practicing or performing, you can find Madison singing, dancing, and doing cartwheels throughout her home.

COOPER MANDALA ( Eric) is thrilled to return to the MPAC stage! He has previously appeared as Mason in MPAC’s School of Rock as well as numerous productions at the JCC MetroWest and Children’s Theatre of Livingston. Cooper is grateful for the support and encouragement of his teachers at MPAC, Home Sweet Home Music, friends and family. He would also like to thank Cathy, Charles and the talented cast and crew for an unforgettable experience. Have fun watching the revolting children!

NOEL MAROOTIAN ( Ensemble) is 16 years old and a Sophomore at West Essex High School in North Caldwell. She is excited to be a part of MPAC’s main stage production of Matilda 2023. Noel is a proud member of the Mayo Performing Arts Touring Company who perform for local community events. Noel has also been performing and touring with the School of Rock’s House Band located in Montclair, NJ where they have performed several times at the legendary “Bitter End” in New York City and other notable venues. This summer Noel will be touring with the School of Rock’s House Band throughout the Tri-State area hitting many more historic and legendary venues. The House Band members select their own set list, rehearse, and perform locally to help fundraise for their upcoming summer tour. She will also be attending the Juilliard Summer Arts program in Florida for a second time. Noel loves acting, singing, songwriting and is learning how to play guitar. Noel credits all her teachers and her family who have consistently encouraged her to do her best. She would love to continue challenging herself, learn new music and explore new musical genres. Noel thanks the community for coming out and supporting the Arts. “Revolution” - Is To Be A Better Human!!!

ANDY MARTINEZ ( Escapologist ) is excited to be returning to MPAC once again! Previously, he appeared as Javert in Les Misérables (2015). Additional credits include Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince, Heartwood Regional, ME), The Office: A Musical Parody (Male Swing, The Theatre Center, NYC), Something Rotten! (Nick Bottom, Plays-in-the-

Park, NJ), etc. He graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2016 and currently teaches and directs the theater program at Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, NJ. Special thanks to Cathy, Charles, the prodigiously talented, young cast, crew, and his loving family and friends. He would like to dedicate this performance to his grandmother, Helen Salerno.

KEVIN B MCGLYNN ( Miss Trunchbull ) a native of Medford Ma and a graduate of The Boston Conservatory is humbled to be a part of this cast of performers whose talent, commitment and enthusiasm are an inspiration. MIA ADRIANNA MUÑOZ ( Alice) is thrilled to return to the mainstage at MPAC in Matilda! She made her debut last spring as Tomika for the mainstage production of School of Rock. Some of Miaʼs other favorite roles have been Sandy in her middle schoolʼs production of Grease and as Anna in Applause Theaterʼs Frozen Jr. Mia is a member of MPAC Performing Arts Company and has been attending MPAC classes since the age of 7 where she has grown through the guidance and mentorship of the staff. She wants to thank her family, friends, and teachers for all the love and support she receives from them.

DAVID OLIVEIRA ( Ensemble) is a 15-year-old aspiring musician who is thrilled to showcase his talents in the upcoming production of Matilda at MPAC. This marks his second consecutive year participating in the annual spring musical at MPAC. David possesses a keen interest in musical theatre, with a particular passion for music composition and proficiency in playing the guitar, piano, and viola. He has also demonstrated his artistic versatility through his previous involvement in notable productions, including School of Rock, West Side Story, and Grease

KEVIN OLIVEIRA ( Rudolpho) is thrilled to be playing Rudolpho in MPACʼs Matilda! Kevin is 17 years old and has performed in many regional productions such as, The Drowsy Chaperone as Aldolpho, Mamma Mia, Grease, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka as Charlie Bucket, and Les Misérables as Gavroche (u/s). He’s also participated in some other MPAC productions such as School of Rock as Mr. Williams, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat playing Jacob/Joseph, and Little Mermaid as Prince Eric! He enjoys singing, and figure skating in his free time! He would like to thank the cast, crew, and the amazing creative team for this memorable experience!

ANNABELLA PACHECO-VERGEL ( Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of the “Big Kid Ensemble” in her first big mainstage production. She is 12, and in the 7 th grade. Bella is currently part of the MPAC Performing Arts Company and is involved in many choirs and clubs at her school. She has been working with MPAC since the age of nine. Bella would like to thank her Mom and Dad for always supporting her and helping her excel. Also, her family for the continued support. Lastly, she would like to thank Ms. Cathy and Charles for being amazing mentors and giving her great opportunities.

MADELYN GRACE PASUIT ( Amanda) of Randolph, NJ, has been performing musical theater through MPAC for over a decade. Credits include the Mainstage Performances of West Side Story (Choir) and last yearʼs School of Rock (Marcy), as well as class performances of Dear Edwina (Edwina), Gypsy (Baby June), Shrek (Young Fiona), and many others. She is also a member of MPAC’s Performing Arts Company. Madelyn Grace is thrilled to be a part of such an incredibly talented and supportive cast and crew, and she wishes everyone the best of luck!

ADRIELLE PERDE ( Mrs. Phelps) is so excited to be a part of her second production here at MPAC! Being a part of this amazing cast has been truly a blessing. Adrielle is a sophomore BFA Musical Theatre Major at Montclair State University and is proud to represent her community and bipoc performers in everything that she does. NIEL PERDE ( Kids Ensemble) is so excited to be in his first real big production here at MPAC! This is a really fun show to do with this amazing cast and he is so glad he got the opportunity to do this. Past shows include Jungle Book Kids and A Year with Frog and Toad ! Enjoy the show! John 3:16

ELIZABETH PIETRUCHA ( Acrobat, Ensemble) is proud to be joining Mayo Performing Arts Center for her 2nd Spring Musical. Some of her recent credits include Dee Dee Allen (The Prom), Bea Bottom ( Something Rotten! ), Donna Sheridan ( Mamma Mia), and Paulette Buonofonte ( Legally Blonde). She plans to move to NYC this fall to begin training and pursue a career in Musical Theatre. Elizabeth is profoundly grateful for director Cathy Roy, music director Charles Santoro, and the rest of the cast and crew as well as her family and friends for their endless support.

ANNABELLE PLOCINIAK ( Ensemble) Annabelle is very excited to be a part of MPAC’s Spring Musical Matilda. Annabelle is also a part of the MPAC Performing Arts Company. Some favorite past credits include Chris/Inspector Carter The Play that Goes Wrong Roxbury High School, Pepper in Annie Centenary Stage Company Hackettstown, Queen Aggravain, Once Upon A Mattress and Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, Assassins YPW Centenary Stage company. Annabelle is a junior at Roxbury High School and is hoping to pursue a career in Musical Theater. She would like to thank Cathy Roy for the opportunity to be a part of this exciting production and all of her fellow cast and crew.

AISHA REHAN ( Ensemble) is a junior at Parsippany High School, and is super excited to be in her second MPAC production! She is also a proud member of the MPAC Performing Arts Company, where she joyously spreads the gift of music. Aisha is so grateful for the amazing memories she made in this production and would like to thank her loving family, friends and teachers for all of their support.

SOPHIA REHAN ( Ensemble) is thrilled to make her debut performance at MPAC! Sophia is 13 years old and has performed in Aladdin Junior, Lion King Junior, and Cinderella. She enjoys swimming, singing, dancing, and instrumental learning in gliding piano and drums in her spare time. She thanks the amazing people at MPAC for this opportunity. She also thanks her parents and family for their love and support.

MILES SCHMIDT ( Nigel ) is ecstatic to be making his MPAC debut! His most recent credits include A Christmas Story (Ralphie) with the Algonquin Arts Theatre, 13: The Musical (Brett, Eddie), The SpongeBob Musical (Plankton), and Addams Family Jr (Gomez). Miles lives in Morris Township. A big thank you to his family, all his teachers (especially Miss Krystle, Miss Emily and Mr. Thomas) for their support, and the Matilda team (especially Miss Cathy!) for this incredible opportunity.

OLIVER SHOAF ( Sergei, Ensemble) is 14, almost 15, and is in the ensemble of the show. This is Oliver’s first MPAC spring musical and his roughly second year with MPAC in his life. Oliver is honored to be apart of MPAC’s Performing Arts Company and is very grateful for the opportunities it has provided such as performing with Renee Elise Goldsberry, with Darren Criss, and at Radio City Music Hall. Past roles Oliver has played include, but aren’t limited to Daddy Warbucks in Annie at his middle school, Baker in Into The Woods at MPAC Saturday classes, and Toad in A Year With Frog And Toad at Stagedoor Manor. Oliver would like to thank his friends and family for being there for him as well as MPAC, obviously, Annie’s Playhouse, Stagedoor Manor, and his parents for teaching him everything he could know about acting and the business as well. NAINA SLAUGHTER ( Ensemble) a junior at Morristown HS, is excited to be in her 4th MPAC spring musical. Naina is a member of MPAC’s Performing Arts Company and also has performed in the school musicals, including The Little Mermaid (Ariel) and most recently Cinderella (Footman/ Ensemble), where she was also Dance Captain. She is vice president of the student board of the school’s troupe of the International Thespian Society. Thank you Cathy, Charles, Darius, Dayna, Jon, & Jenny for all your support through the years!

REBECCA TILLET ( Ensemble) started Performing Arts at the Simply Theatre academy in Geneva, Switzerland in 2015 where she participated in their musical theater programme during the academic year plus many of their summer camp programs. In 2018 Rebecca moved to the USA, where she joined the MPAC Performing Arts School in Morristown, where she has participated in many different musical programmes and summer camp options performing in a variety of shows including as Rona Lisa Peretti in Spelling Bee, as a Step-Sister in Into The Woods plus many others. During the last two summers Rebecca has attended Long Lake Camp for the Arts, where she participates in their Performing Arts Programme and has performed in All Shook Up, The Addams Family and most recently Sir Lancelot in Spamalot In 2022, Rebecca was accepted into the Morris County Performing Arts Academy for High school, as a student of vocal performance. Freshman year has seen Rebecca participating in many different vocal performances including taking the role of Jo in Little Women at this semesterʼs Performing Art School class. Rebecca is thrilled to be participating in this yearʼs musical Matilda

NICHOLAS TRUPIA ( Bruce) is in fifth grade and has been acting and singing since age six. He is thrilled to be performing in his second MPAC main stage production after appearing in the 2022 musical School of Rock (James). Nicholas recently performed in MPAC class showcases of Guys and Dolls (Nathan Detroit) and The Addams Family (Uncle Fester) and enjoys singing as a junior cantor at his church. He would like to thank Cathy, Charles and the amazing cast and crew for this incredible experience. He would also especially like to thank his parents and sisters Kathryn and Rose for their love and support.

CHARLIE VALDEZ ( Doctor, Ensemble) is so excited to be performing in his first show at MPAC! He is currently a graduating senior attending Morris Knolls High School in the Academy for Performing Arts and will be attending County College of Morris in the Fall to start his education as a Musical Theater major. Some of his past credits include Godspell (Featured Ensemble), Legally Blonde (Emmett Forrest), All Shook Up (Dennis), and Something Rotten! (Nigel Bottom). He wants to thank his family and friends for being so supportive throughout his theater journey and the cast, crew and production team for being so wonderful to work with these past few months.
