IN THE SPOTLIGHT: National School Games

Taekwondo

Our boys and girls kicked to higher heights with their achievements at the National Inter-school Taekwondo Championships B and C divisions. Achieving the 3rd overall placing in Poomsae for the C Division girls and 2nd overall placing in Kyorugi for the B Division girls left the whole team in high spirits. The C Division boys also clinched a 3rd overall placing in Kyorugi, which brought big smiles to their faces.

It was an exciting time to be back in action at the National School Games (NSG). Our basketball boys gave it their all in the competition, with shots from under the basket, going enthusiastically for layups and never missing an opportunity to get a hold of the basketball Our boys sure made an impression with their opponents at this NSG showing!

2023 is a remarkable year for the B Division Football Team. The boys managed to reach top of the table in League 3, having beaten several strong teams in their group fixtures

A particularly notable moment was during our match against Punggol Secondary, which was a true test of resilience as the momentum of the game swayed back and forth. During half time, Sean urged the team to continue to put in the best effort and not give up It was in the 81st minute where they scored the crucial goal in extra time that put Mayflower Secondary at the top of the table.
