Having begun life in 1982 as a small family run business, Club Green was the first to bring wedding favours to the UK from Italy. 40 years later, weddings are still a core part of the business, but it has grown beyond recognition into one of the leading party suppliers in the world. Progressive Party Europe sat down with commercial director, Michele Gaudelli, to find out about the last 40 years and the company’s plans for the future.

years in business has seen Club Green overcome an array of challenges, demonstrating the team’s strength and determination. Michele Gaudelli, commercial director, explains: “We managed to pull the company through the Great Recession period that occurred between 2007 and 2009. Since then, we have encountered many other issues such as Brexit, Covid 19, the fall of the dollar against the pound, huge hikes in shipping cost, supply chain
issues and now the impact of the current war. “We have built a very solid business with great loyal customers that we are thankful for,” he continues. “Our customers are one of the key ingredients to our successful business

and I have always said to our staff that without good customers, you are not a good business, hence why we give our customers the very best products and service.” Another of the crucial strengths of Club Green is its team. The staff has a low turnover rate, with many members having worked there for over ten years, two for over 15 years, and one who has recently returned after a 20-year gap. Michele furthers: “Our people, products and processes ensure that our customers love dealing with our very friendly team. On many occasions we have been told that our customer service is the best. “We also have our very own talented design team who continue to keep an eye on evolving trends to ensure we keep designing and producing exciting new products and ranges. Our team is hard-working, loyal, and incredibly keen to offer great service to our clients.” Communication between the loyal customers and strong team is also
