Taking place at the start of the year, buyers, distributors and agents flock to the show to ensure they have the pick of the newest party product. Regular catwalk shows will be taking place at The Stage, in Hall 5, showcasing the latest in costume and dress-up trends. Balloon seminars and workshops will also educate and inspire.

Retailers looking for exciting, on-trend party, balloon and costume ranges should head to the Amscan stand where the leading supplier will be showcasing an array of new ensembles for 2019 as well as its own refreshed company branding. The costume collection has also been expanded to include a number of exciting new licences and generic dress-up options, while over 20 new partyware ranges have also been added. Some stunning new balloons will be joining Amscan’s collection, with lots of fresh licences and everyday designs. The mesmerising new Ombre Orbz balloons are available in seven eye-catching colourways and are sure to be a hugely popular addition at celebrations everywhere.

From its new branding to exclusive lines, the Bristol Novelty stand reflects the progressive changes the company is making throughout the business. Accompanying its ever-popular accessories will be the new ‘Party & Events’ range, as well as collections being showcased for the first time in the UK. This year Bristol Novelty is launching its 80s range across both accessories and costumes. It will be taking orders for a new eye-catching plastic-free wig range, a new World Book Day range which has been designed in-house, Fun Flatables and a sensational range of generic and Halloween costumes.

Accessories are a big part of Boland’s dress-up range and the new launch is not short of new ideas and products. In 2019 an experiment is being carried out with Boland Party’s new catalogue, so the new Halloween collection will be included in the main catalogue, because as we all know, Halloween is not just for Halloween! This year’s stand will be following a Western theme including a bar and jail – which one you visit will depend on how you behave!

c An Italian company specialising in carnival, Halloween, Christmas and party items, Carnival Toys today is one of the biggest and best established party companies in Europe. With a portfolio of over 6,000 products, Carnival Toys will be offering retailers something different and giving them a point of difference. The Italian production is a real selling point as Italy is the spiritual ‘home’ of Carnival in Europe.
