GARDENS OF COLUMBIA TOUR

PERUSING BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS

By Katie Baker

This past winter may have been unseasonably cold, but Maury County is finally in the midst of a colorful blooming Spring. What better way to usher in a new season than with an opportunity to tour some of Columbia’s most prized gardens?

Save the date for the 2023 Gardens of Columbia Tour, presented by the James K. Polk Memorial Association. The Gardens of Columbia will be held June 2 – 3, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on both days and is a biennial celebration of gardening in historic Columbia, Tennessee. Guests will enjoy touring some of Columbia’s finest gardens and learning from local experts on floral design and gardening.

During the two-day event, ticket holders will be able to tour nine gardens and enjoy three floral demonstrations by local bloom designers Amy Montgomery of Amy Montgomery Home, Michelle Hughes of Bloomstall, and Carla Peterson of Willow and Vine.
