Personal Best

Being at university is a unique opportunity to develop your skills.

It is a time when you can reflect on your interests, values and passions to help you discover who you are and what you want to achieve.

Personal Best is an exclusive programme for all students, developed by the University with guidance from employers. It is designed to help you identify, develop and articulate the skills you are gaining at University through a combination of lesson support, online resources, alumni events and group activities.

The Personal Best Award is an opportunity for students to further evidence their developing skills, through

completion of an online portfolio of activities. Receipt of the award will demonstrate to employers that a student has engaged with the wealth of opportunities offered by the University.

Overall Loughborough University offers a wealth of opportunities to develop your potential and reach your Personal Best: • Whilst studying and researching • In extra-curricular activities with the Students’ Union, LU Arts and sports • With lots of skills and development activities and sessions • Through placements, internships and work experiences.
