Mark S. Shander ’90 of the Boeing Company has been selected to receive the 2005 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) InterRegs Standards and Regulations Award for Young Engineers. This award, established in 2001 by InterRegs, Ltd. and the SAE Foundation, recognizes a practicing engineer under the age of 40 who is involved in standards, regulations, or conformity assessment systems which improve safety or reduced emissions in a mobility product. Mark has been the Fuel Electrical Lead for the Boeing 787 program since early 2004.
Michael Feminis ’86 and wife Meredith welcomed a new addition to their family, Francesca Marie Feminis born December 2, 2004. Big sister is Gianna Carmella. Michael is the Head Football Coach at St. Xavier University. Michael Gaughan ’86 and his wife Laura welcomed Andrew Michael to their family on December 21, 2004. Andrew was born in the Kaluga Region in Russia on November 7, 2002. They were lucky enough to bring their son home on Christmas Day. In Michael’s spare time, he teaches a variety of social studies courses at Bloom High School in Chicago Heights.
Monica (Hovis) Thompson ’90 and Matthew Thompson ’90 welcome the birth of their first child, Myra Grace on July 1, 2005. Myra weighed 6 pounds, and was 18 inches long. Lisa Kozminski ’91 married Je Moon on September 3, 2005 in New York. Lisa is a manager at an Ann Taylor Store.
John Capriotti ’88 and his wife Michelle welcomed their fourth child this past April. Christopher Joseph joins Caitlin 8, Jake 6 and Nicholas 3. The Capriotti family resides in Arizona.
Aimee (Delaney) Ogren ’91 and husband Chad announce the birth of their first child, Eamon Frederick Ogren, born on October 21, 2005. He weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 21 inches long.
Fred Delaney, Jr. ’88 married Maren Struve on June 25, 2005. Fred is an Operating Engineer in Chicago.
Kerry (Reidy) Paris ’91 and her husband Marty welcome the birth of their daughter Maeve Filan Paris on April 13, 2005. Maeve weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19 inches long. Big brothers and future bodyguards Conor and Martin (1 years old) are happy to have a little sister. Kerry and her family happily reside in Chicago in the Old Town area.
Sue Ann (Haedike) Grann ’88 and her husband, Eric, were blessed with triplets on June 17, 2005. The boys are: Ian Garrett, 4 pounds, 9 ounces, 18 inches long; Gavin Lucas, 4 pounds, 17 inches long; and Aaron Emory, 4 pounds, 17 inches long. All are doing well. Sue Ann is a very busy stay-at-home mom. The 2005 White House Conference on Aging announced that Colleen Ceh ’88 was one of 27 delegates named to represent the State of Illinois at an upcoming conference in Washington, DC in December, 2005.
Susan Cordogan ’92 started a business in 2004 called "Big City Bride & Big City Events." The business was featured in Crain's Chicago Business Newspaper in June, 2005 and was also on a TV show "Making it Big" on the O channel.
Derek Mosley ’88 and wife Kelly are new parents. Their daughter Kallan Lee Cochrane Mosley was born on July 14, 2005.
Jennifer (Rentz) Ebert ’92 and Joshua Ebert welcomed daughter Rachel Lyn on August 8, 2005. Rachel joins big brother Jacob.
Heather (Genck) Frank ’89 was installed as Treasurer of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers this past June. She is enjoying a vacation this fall to California and Turks and Caicos.
Lisa (Stachyra) Gaidar ’92 and husband Michael welcomed their first child Michael Anthony Jr., December 23, 2004. Lisa, who is a court reporter is now a stay-at-home mommy!

Dan Wojcikiewicz ’92 and wife Stephanie announce the birth of their second son, Abraham Joseph (born January 20, 2005) weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches long. He was welcomed home by two-year-old big brother Isaac.
