Sunbelt Rentals is one of the biggest rental equipment providers in the UK and a part of the Ashtead Group; a global leader in rentals. Due to its size and success, the advantage of ‘Reach’ is often found in conversation regarding their unique ability to impact the market, gather valuable data, and, overall, push the industry forward as a whole. But it’s not just about good business: It’s clear they care about using this market position to give back to both society, and the environment. I sat down with Mark Keily, Health, Safety & Sustainability Director, and Hannah Pascoe, Head of External Communications, to chat about - would you believe it - Health, Safety, and Sustainability. We discussed their latest initiatives and innovations - being that bridge between OEMs and customers - and learned about a few exciting projects currently under way, that you’ll be seeing the fruits of very soon. This was one of those conversations that left me confident in Sunbelt Rental’s position at the vanguard of equipment hire and a little inspired by the good they’re doing. (And the new tartan-style Sunbelt socks they’ve designed are pretty darn cool, too - fab job Hannah!)
