Damon and his wife Sherry have lived in Cordillera Ranch since 2002. As a builder, living where you are building gives Burdick & Christofilis a superior advantage – being in close proximity Damon personally meets with his clients and oversees his job sites every day. He can meet with a client within minutes just being a phone call away or run to a job site to address questions that may arise instantly. He has a keen eye for the full vision from lot selection, to terrain, and taking full advantage of maximizing views. One of the rarities you see in home building is a team that truly listens to their client’s full vision to make it a reality and demonstrates compassion throughout the process. One of the most recent custom homes Damon completed for clients was coined with the mantra “Casa de Casas.” Having built multiple homes over the years and having every detail they wanted throughout in their mind to incorporate into their new home, the clients knew exactly what they wanted to build, they interviewed numerous builders to find the one
that they felt would be able to build their “House of Houses”. After meeting Damon, they instantly knew he was the builder for them. The builder that could build the meticulous quality, deliver the detail they were looking for, and give them the personal building experience it would require to build this dream home. Honing in on Cordillera Ranch, Boerne and Texas Hill Country, Damon has built over 100 homes and counting in the Boerne area. He is fluent in Spanish and a native Texan who began his college career at The University of Texas studying international business. He transferred and graduated from Texas A & M with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He began his residential construction career in Houston before relocating to penetrate the San Antonio home building market in 1994. In 2000, Damon joined forces with renown San Antonio custom home builder, Art Burdick as a Partner to create Burdick & Christofilis Custom Homes. • Tori Streff
