Located in the midst of the Al Wathba desert, lies the stunning Jumeirah Al Wathba. The area is extremely dear to the locals and also is a popular venue for camel horse racing & falcon hunting all year round. Al Wathba is a desert area that lies to the south east of central Abu Dhabi. It is close enough to the city that it can be reached within 40 minutes, but far enough away that the depths of the desert can be felt.

Home to the tale inspiring Sheikh Zayed Heritage Village that celebrates the stories of Arabian legend, you are invited to embark on a cultural voyage blending UAE and world heritage in an immersive, interactive collection of performances, pavilions and events. A Wathba is a diverse and activated desert area, where its landscape is known for both its natural wildlife anf adventurous activities. A wealth of wildlife can be found at the Al Wathba Wetlands reserve.

Five square kilometres of wetlands, sabkhas (sand flats), fossilised sands and dunes sit within the desert. Teeming with life, more than 250 species of birds have been spotted here, as well as 37 plant species and a rich variety of animals and insects too.

The resort is reminiscent of a traditional Bedouin village, arriving complete with several rooms & villas with their private plunge pools.
