Lucas Ackerson

Lucas Ackerson is an organizational leader and consultant with 13 years of experience supporting the development of leadership in others. A former college track athlete, he developed valuable traits such as discipline, resilience, and perseverance, which have shaped his personal and professional journey. He believes that adversity builds strength, character, and purpose, and encourages others to trust the process even during difficult times. With a focus on growth through challenges, he brings strengths in organizational leadership, time management, and client relations. He served as Assistant Principal-Athletic Director at a school within the Scottsdale Unified School District, where he led key strategic projects. His responsibilities included planning, coordination, resource management, and performance evaluation. His leadership improved communication with school leaders, enhanced decision-making processes, and supported the development of teacher leaders and cross-functional teams. He also coached staff to build team confidence and readiness for essential initiatives. In the athletic department, he strengthened processes and governance practices, negotiated a Nike Elite Contract and Sports deal, and worked to improve operational maturity. In the Cave Creek School District, he contributed to K-12 Educational Services by supporting teachers, students, administrators, and community members. His responsibilities included training, behavioral coaching, instructional guidance, curriculum support, and leading professional learning communities. Before that, he worked at Echo Canyon School as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher and instructional leader. He supported both in-person and remote learning, identified behavioral challenges among kindergarten students using the CICO program, and promoted a safe, engaging learning environment that encouraged critical thinking and independence.
