Logan Sugarman is an experienced entrepreneur, investor, and builder, best known as the Founder and CEO of Refresh, an HR technology platform that redefines how modern workforces connect and operate. With over twenty years of experience spanning Wall Street, climate technology, and enterprise software, he has built and led ventures at the intersection of data, logistics, and human behavior. Founded in 2007, Refresh is an all-in-one customizable SuperApp designed to unify every tool, benefit, and communication system for global workforces, especially those in frontline and deskless roles. Unlike traditional HR solutions, it personalizes each employee’s experience based on role, status, and geography, ensuring relevance and accessibility. Today, corporations deploy hundreds of tools, with HR teams frequently adding new apps—creating complexity that costs over $100 billion in management time, deprives employees of $400 billion in value, and leads vendors to miss $50 billion in potential revenue. Under his leadership, the platform now serves Fortune 500 companies, major unions, and large nonprofits, integrating more than 3,000 systems across HR, payroll, and learning functions. In 2025, SHRM selected Refresh as one of three companies, out of more than 500 applicants, for its Accelerator Program and invested in its mission to improve workplace wellness and engagement.
