WORK-RELATED LEARNING Liverpool Business School has a dedicated Employability Support Unit and you can choose to undertake a paid 48-week work placement in the UK or overseas between your second and third year of study, working on real-life business problems Placements provide the opportunity to gain experience of what it’s like to work in industry as well as giving you a chance to put your learning into practice, develop personal skills and enhance your employability. A significant number of our students also go on to secure employment with their placement provider after graduating. Placements are available in a wide variety of roles and organisations and organisations we have previously placed students at include Unilever, Liverpool Football Club, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Bentley; and overseas at Airbus in Toulouse, Tom Tom in Amsterdam and Toyota in Brussels. CAREER PROSPECTS We have an excellent employment record with graduates securing graduate-level positions with leading employers in public and private sectors. These include Everton Football Club, Kellogg company, Santander and Deloitte. In the last Destination of Leavers in HE survey (2015/16 data), 96.7% of our graduates had secured employment or were in further study within 6 months of graduating. Career opportunities include marketing, digital analytics, purchasing, human resources, management, finance and sales.
BUSINESS WITH FINANCE BA (Hons) This degree will provide you with business knowledge, as well as enabling you to gain specialist knowledge in finance, from financial analysis to financial risk management to prepare you for a wide variety of roles in the business and finance sectors. Liverpool Business School’s Employability Support Unit will help you find suitable vacancies and support you during the application process and whilst on placement. Students from Liverpool Business School have completed placements with organisations as diverse as the NHS, Liverpool Football Club, Bentley and Airbus.
