Bike Smart • $10 Resident • $10 Non-Resident

In partnership with the Lexington Bicycle Advisory Committee, the Friends of Lexington Bikeways, and the Lexington Police Department, the Bike Smart program will be offered this fall. Bike Smart classes build rider confidence, whether riding for fun or transportation. Students will learn how to evaluate if their bicycle is safe to ride, proper helmet fit, bicycle handling techniques, signaling, and additional biking skills.

ARCHERY TAG IS BACK!

Archery $175 Resident • $185 Non-Resident

Archery provides the opportunity for anyone to do well. The benefits of archery include exercise, mental focus, self-discipline, and social interaction with peers. This program teaches the fundamentals of good form, technique, and safety. Taught by Shawn Bowlby who has 20+ years of experience and has won the national indoor championship 8 times. Archery equipment is provided and will be sanitized and disinfected after every class.

Youth Field Hockey Clinic $120 Resident • $130 Non-Resident

Join Laura Galopim, LHS Varsity Field Hockey Coach and her players as they teach the basic skills needed to play the game. While learning the basic skills, players will also learn the rules of the game and develop confidence and a greater understanding of how to play. Coaches and LHS players are excited to have fun and bring great energy to practices each week! No prior experience is necessary. All participants will need goggles, stick, mouth guard, and shin guards. Sticks can be provided with advanced notice and all participants will receive a t-shirt.

Archery Tag Middle School Trip $175 Resident • $185 Non-Resident

2 teams battle it out with bows and foam-tipped arrows in the Archery Games arena! Game-play is similar to dodgeball with the ultimate objective to tag all opposing players with arrows and eliminate them from the game. There are no painful marks or bruising from the arrows. A 100% safe activity that everyone can enjoy! No archery experience required — our skilled staff provide 25 minutes of instruction and target practice. Held at Archery Games Boston (121 Webster Avenue, #3 Chelsea, MA 02150). A pizza lunch & transportation is included in the price.

3D Design using BlocksCAD $270 Resident • $280 Non-Resident

BlocksCAD is a programmatic, cloud-based, 3D Design tool that teaches Coding, 3D Design, Math & Computational Thinking. Your child will utilize cartesian coordinates, number sense, spatial reasoning, matrics and geometry. Make sure to bring your own Chromebook, Macbook, or laptop. At the end of the class each student will receive a lifetime license to BlocksCAD and one 3D print of a their choice from their design library.

Challenger Tiny Tykes Soccer Resident $135 • Non-Resident $145

Tiny Tykes is an exciting child development program delivered through soccer. Our soccer and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum that takes children on “Immersive Interactive Adventures” through fun and exciting themes with an emphasis on running, jumping, throwing, stopping, and starting through the game of soccer. All children will receive a free uniform and soccer ball.

BUDA (Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance) Ultimate Frisbee Clinics

Learn Ultimate Frisbee! Have tons of fun, make friends, and discover the joys of frisbee. Grades 1-5 play on Sunday afternoons. Grades 6-8 have a skills session mid-week and scrimmage on Sunday afternoons. Players will be divided by age and experience to make small groups. We combine coached clinic-style practice sessions with regular scrimmage time. Our season will feature two local mini tournaments against teams from other towns. Ultimate is played without referees. If you haven’t seen your child play competitively while calling their own fouls, give this sport a try. You’ll love the results. We also offer U17 & U20 programs for high school students looking to learn or improve their game. NOTE: Registration must be done directly through

Cornhole, bean bag toss, lawn toss, or bag toss! Whatever you call it, this game is fun and surprisingly competitive! Sign up with a partner and come by the Community Center for a cornhole tournament. We will be playing a round-robin-style tournament with a sweet $25 gift card to a local Lexington restaurant. We will see you soon!

Beginner: Chess is a fun and strategic game that can improve decision-making, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and more. We will learn the names of pieces, how they move, basic tactics, openings, checkmates, and endgames. Classes include 30-40 minutes of instruction with 20-30 minutes of supervised play. Intermediate: Players who already know how to move pieces can participate in this session. You will learn intermediate to advanced tactics, strategies, learn about openings, middle games, and endgames. We will focus on how to play in tournaments.
