Management Team Julie Milne General Manager
Julie has worked for the Association since 2006, first providing administrative support and progressing to involvement with the Association’s technical work on BSI, CEN and ISO Committees as well as the Association’s own Technical Committee. Julie is now the primary contact for any queries regarding safety matters and strives to ensure that the safety of children remains at the heart of the Association’s work.
Marc Hardenberg Chair
Marc is CEO of Majuma Ltd (Nursery Management Consultancy) and chair of the Baby Products Association with over 25 years’ experience in the baby products industry. He is a specialist in international & UK business development and is committed to enhancing the value and purpose of the Association to its members.
Christine Scippo Membership/ Marketing/PR A journalist by trade, Christine previously led the marketing activity for several industry trade associations and a national charity with responsibility for complete rebranding; and the role of editor for specific interest (trade) magazines. She joined the Baby Products Association’s team as marketing manager in 2008 and continues to support both this and other companies in the nursery sector.
Rachelle Harel Treasurer
Industry veteran, Rachelle Harel runs business consultancy agency RH Sales & Marketing Ltd and represents small and mid-sized companies on the committee. She serves on the exec as Treasurer.
Phil Howe Vice Chair
Has been the Country Manager (UK & Ireland) for Peg Perego since March 2016, and has been involved in the industry since 1993 holding various positions for the following companies during this time. Joie – UK Sales Director Years (2014 to 2016), Chicco 11 Years (2003 to 2014), Mamas & Papas 10 years (1993 to 2003). Retail Background before joining the industry having worked with John Lewis Partnership and Boots.
