1. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2007. That’s not a secret to those who know me. However, most don’t know that legendary quarterback, “Broadway” Joe Namath, was in my graduating class. 2. Before attending the University of Alabama, I played one year of college football at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. I transferred to Alabama the following year with no desire to try out for the Crimson Tide. 3. My wife, Mairin, is also a practicing attorney. She is Assistant General Counsel at NeoGenomics Laboratories in Fort Myers. Our practices are very different (in-house counsel versus private practice), which gives us distinct perspectives on the practice of law. 4. Mairin attended law school at the University of Georgia. So, college football has been interesting for us to watch together the past few years. We have attended the last two UGA vs. Alabama SEC championship games in person. At least one of us is happy after each game. 5. Mairin and I welcomed our first child in March of this year. We are blessed with a baby boy - Gentry Briggs Roepstorff. I am confident he will take after his father and become a Bama fan.
