The authors of the Island Blue Pages were inspired by the Puget Soundbook, a 1991 publication conceived by the Puget Sound Water Quality Authority to educate individuals regarding their impact on the Puget Sound ecosystem. We were also inspired by the Martha’s Vineyard Island Blue Pages, which was adapted from the Puget Sound publication. Some materials were adapted from the Martha’s Vineyard publication.
