STEWARDSHIP

Dear LCFC Family,

Thank you for helping to steward the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado to become the organization it is today. As we reflect on this year, we not only look back at 2018, but our past 11 years together. And look at all we have accomplished. The LCFC, now an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization, is one of only a handful of Latino foundations in the U.S. We have invested nearly $6 million in funding that has impacted tens of thousands of Coloradans—individuals, families, organizations, and communities across the state. We prepared ourselves for this next chapter by creating key partnerships with local and national organizations and growing our network of Latino philanthropists. But more importantly, we have traveled this state— from Northern Colorado to the mountain region to the San Luis Valley—and we listened to our community. We listened in living room, restaurants, universities and community centers. With the body of knowledge we have gained, we are now poised to expand our giving, our reach and our ability to impact the lives of all of Colorado’s one million Latinos. We hope to count on the continued support of your time, talent and treasure as we continue this journey together. The power of philanthropy is in our hands, for our people and we are excited for you to experience what’s next.

Sincerely,

LCFC Board & Staff NOMADIC
