t Car Craft Auto Body, the word “craft” has far deeper significance than one can ascertain at first glance. It is the credo of a company that prides itself on unmatched working knowledge and a passion for its work that is shared by each employee, from the owner down. “Our owner, Jimmy Mason, started working at Car Craft at age 15,” says Vice President Garry Goddard Jr. “He bought the business in the early 1970s. We opened a location in Chesterfield Valley in 2007. In 2016, we opened our third location in south St. Louis County. We have four day-to-day retail locations, and in 2017, we opened our fleet division.” In 2020, Car Craft Auto Body opened its fourth location, in Hazelwood. Along with Car Craft Auto Body’s impressive growth over the last four decades, each site offers a team of top-level experts. “We hold more certifications than any [other] auto body company in Missouri,” Goddard explains. In addition, Car Craft Auto Body has two ASE [Automotive Service Excellence] master mechanics, each having completed all eight certifications. In May 2020, Car Craft Auto Body partnered with Holman Motorcars St. Louis, thus extending their certifications. Car Craft Auto Body is now proud to add Bentley, Lamborghini and several other brands. Its tow division, JDL Transport, is also proud to service these brands, providing roadside assistance when necessary.

Landscaping That Makes a Statement By Maggie Peters | Photos courtesy of Chesterfield Valley Nursery
E
very landscape should feel individual, and at Chesterfield Valley Nursery, it’s easy to find that one statement piece, that one plant that stands out from the rest and looks like nothing you have seen before. Chesterfield Valley Nursery makes it a point to have an expansive selection of specimen plant material, from pines to spruces to Japanese maples, and travel all over the country to find these unique plants and make them available to metro area shoppers. Whether it’s the way the plant’s branching is structured or its impressive foliage, the nursery provides eye-catching greenery sure to make any outdoor space stand out. Some of these plants even come with a story, such as many of the evergreens from a hilltop nursery with a picturesque view of Mount Hood, Oregon, and Japanese maples that have been growing longer than the 30 years Chesterfield Valley Nursery has been in business. Some branches feature naturally occurring lichen and moss, showing the beauty of the aging and growing process. Chesterfield Valley Nursery brings in pines, maples and more – each looked at closely, picked with care and ready for that one special spot in your garden you’re excited to work on and design.
