6 to 7) are your opportunity to explore our campus and find out more about your chosen course. We’re here to answer any questions, and an Open Day is the perfect place to ask.

Applications for 2024 entry open in September 2023. You can apply through the UCAS website using our UCAS code: Y75. You can choose up to 5 options and have until Wednesday 31 January 2024 to do this.

If we make you an offer, we’ll invite you to a Decision Day in the spring of 2024. These are another opportunity to get to know your course, as well as our campus and community, better.

Apply for your loan

Most students use government loans to cover the cost of their university tuition and accommodation. You won’t have to start paying your student loan back until you’re earning over £27,295 a year. If you decide to fund your studies through a loan, you’ll need to apply for funding through your student finance provider before May 2024 yorksj.ac.uk/funding

Find your new home

If you’re moving away from home to study with us, then choosing where to live is an important decision. We guarantee all of our first year students a place in our University or partner provider accommodation, providing our deadlines are met. You’ll be able to submit your preferences from February 2024 to July 2024. You can choose 3 options and we will try our best to meet your preferences. You can find out more about how rooms are allocated on our website.

Summer 2024 is when all of your hard work pays off. Celebrate your achievements, confirm your place with us, and get ready for university life. If you didn’t get what you hoped for, we may still be able to find you a place through Clearing.
