Arul Murugan says that fourth industrial revolution is fundamentally different from previous one and this time we are seeing fusion of technologies that is blurring physical, digital and biological worlds. We are moving to an era of intelligence that could augment human intelligence. Arul came from a manufacturing background and started the technology company ENRICH in 2003. After selling Enrich in 2016, Arul wanted to be a part of the next wave of innovation and chose Alpharetta (Technology hub of the south) as the place where he believed would give him the best opportunity. Arul started 11-11 Ventures because he saw that while Alpharetta was teeming with technology companies and individuals, the one thing that was lacking was investment dollars for this next wave of innovators to bring their ideas to realty. “Most of the venture capitalists were in Midtown and Buckhead and I saw a great opportunity in Alpharetta to help these technology entrepreneurs take their designs to the next level.” While most of the traditional venture capital firms got capital come from institutions and did not allow easy access for individual investors, 1111 Ventures allows for technology executives and individual investors to invest more modest amounts of money and be involved in the success journey with startup companies. Alpharetta has many technology executives who are interested in investing in the next wave of innovation. The company will break ground on the $100 million project, a corporate campus reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance, in the winter of 2017.

Jackson Healthcare currently employs 1,100 workers across the country including 898 associates in the Atlanta area.

The headquarters expansion will include an eight-story, 267,000 square foot office building and a 39,000 square foot amenities building that will house a state-of-the-art gym, an indoor pool, and a full-service restaurant for associates.
