CITY OF MONTEBELLO PARKS MASTER PLAN
Montebello City Park As the park is the hub for the community, providing a central place where families can gather for community events while also providing community-wide recreational activities, the park design seeks to bring balance to the level of service that the park offers while also helping to clear some of the amenities that are aging and that were placed somewhat haphazardly over time. The park design includes overall ADA improvements and enhancements throughout, a redesigned family event area, a new adventure playground area, a new rectangular multi-use field and bocce ball court area, a central promenade and splash pad, a large multi-sport court area (basketball, tennis, volleyball, pickleball, and futsal) with handball courts and an outdoor fitness area, an enlarged skatepark area, a new cultural themed playground area, and a new walking trail with fitness pads.
