Your other class correspondent, Alyssa Gardner Kilpatrick, retains her very prestigious role as mother to Foster (3) and Colin (1) and has not received any promotions or bonuses – in spite of the fact that this job has proven to be the most challenging of her career. Luckily, it’s also been the happiest and most rewarding! The Kilpatrick family is heading to the Hill Country and to the beach in Florida a couple of times this summer, and will later take a trip to Colorado Springs in early fall.

Finally, I (Michel Miller Mullett) am still living in Houston and continue to work full-time as the Client Services Manager for Thompson & Knight LLP. My husband Philip and I bought a house in Briargrove last August and we are loving the new “hood”. Our biggest news this year was the arrival of our second daughter Anna Kathryn who decided to make her debut two weeks early – on Christmas Eve of all days! She is a very smiley and happy baby, despite the “love taps” she regularly receives on the head from her big sister Charlotte who turned two years old in May.
Katy Bacon Madigan married Jesse Madigan in Houston. Her wedding party included several falcons: Aline Brown Copp, Katie Schlesinger, Mary Beth Tyler, Michael Viviano, Sara Cain, and Zachry Brown ‘02. Upon finishing her MBA at Colombia, she moved to Dallas and now works at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, where she has benefited from the counsel of a great group of falcons including Jessica Solera ‘02, Michael Short, Robert Campbell, and Jessica Lev ‘04. Katy says, “Please holler and reach out to George K and me if you are ever in Dallas!”
Many thanks to all of the Class of 2000 girls who wrote in this year! We loved hearing from all of you, and are already looking forward to learning about your 2016-2017 adventures next summer!
