in Santa Monica, California, on the Third Street Promenade. With a beautiful ocean view, the studio with 24 bikes sits on the roofdeck of Burn Fitness, the privately owned gym she partnered with on this endeavor. This is the first location of what she hopes to build into a franchise for other boutique gyms that want to offer a quality cycling program. Otherwise, Mary says she is “still single and child-less.” ;) Lisa Kaplan Rosenzweig tells us, “Life is fun and busy with a three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter and a hotel project over five years in the making. I love every moment I get to spend with my family and can’t wait for Hotel Emma at the exciting Pearl redevelopment in San Antonio to open for everyone to enjoy what I’ve been working on.” Murphey Harmon Sears and her husband Jeff welcomed their second son, Price Christopher, on December 14, 2014, and he is well-loved by big brother Phelps. Murphey says, “As if handling two boys under two wasn›t crazy enough, I decided to switch jobs at the end of my maternity leave! I’m now the Annual Giving Director at the Dallas Women’s Foundation and loving the new challenge. We’re looking forward to catching up on some sleep this summer!” Whitney Stubbs says, “I’m in my second year of teaching high school English at an independent school in Silicon Valley, California, where the pace is bewildering and no two days are alike. Most recently, I’ve been converting a bunch of freshmen to the cult of Cormac McCarthy and teaching a seminar on writing personal essays to seniors with AP-related PTSD. In February, I got to lead an outstanding group of students on a hiking/canyoneering trip to Zion National Park, and oh yeah--I also got engaged. The wedding will be in Houston on New Year’s Eve of this year, and Mark and I just bought a lovely little house in a town on the coast. We’re looking forward to living on the more mellow side of the mountains and to watching the sun go down over the Pacific every night from our front porch.” Amy Spalding Urquhart reports, “We are keeping busy with our son Dean (2½), who is full of energy and so much fun. We are also expecting our second child, a baby girl, on May 12 and can’t wait until she gets here! Summer will be low key for us with a newborn, but we are making a trip up to northern Michigan to be with Robert’s family and escape the heat of Houston!” Shannon Feste Werme and her husband Les welcomed their third child, a son named Russell, on November 6,

Michel recently co-chaired the annual fundraiser at Charlotte’s school and just completed her term as President of the Kinkaid Young Professionals Organization (KYPO). She and Philip are looking forward to some fun in the sun with Charlotte this summer. And as for me, Alyssa Gardner Kilpatrick, life is happier and busier than ever. On December 2, 2014, Brian and I welcomed our second baby boy, Colin Lee Kilpatrick. Our twoyear-old, Foster, constantly tells his little brother about the world around him and never wants to leave his side. I spend my days playing with dinosaurs, building block towers and forts, looking for lizards and reading about trains.
