Most of the Strand Campus buildings directly overlook the Thames, midway between the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral, next door to Somerset House and the Courtauld Institute of Art and almost opposite the Royal Courts of Justice. Our magnificent Maughan Library in Chancery Lane is in one of London’s most distinguished Victorian buildings, formerly the Public Record Office. Within five minutes’ walk of the Strand are

Covent Garden, with its shops, cafés and opera house, many West End theatres, and Trafalgar Square, home to the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.
